There was a list created via PM sometime back. I received the quantity from MB and am redistributing it down.
I guess those of us late to he party want to know if eyes a second quantity coming to be distributed? Or whether allocation was made for new owners to be taken care of or just enough for the list. If the latter how should we go about it ?

Pm me, it's a lot of kit - lot of extras. Multiple tank sleeve and chimney options. I'm from the uk so I'm not bothered on shipping it there outside of the cost/ but it's small and I'm sure we can find something economical that will allow me to wrap my "gift" well so it doesn't break.
pm sent!!!!

I rebuilt the gem with a couple more wraps to 2mm instead of 2.5 tonight. Seems to fluctuate a lot more. Can't get enough fluid in there for consistent temp with that small a diameter. Flavor is better but it's not worth it so far, we will see when it breaks in
yeah. I tried 2mm first time i built it i think. Was not a success!

It ended up getting very bland very fast. Not sure why. I think it generated head
Too centrally.

My second GEM shipped today. I should have it by Friday. Mark bugs is sending me two new tanks along with a new deck. Good support there. It hasn't shipped yet I don't think I don't know though. I don't expect him to update me I just expect in a week and a half to two weeks it will just be in my mailbox. I assume he ships from Germany (his country of residence?)

I continue to have very high levels of success. The more con ton I can jam into the 2.5 coil the better it is. And. Is when I arc the end up and chip them exact,y at the deck screws. It looks like a modern day footballers haircut and it wicks like a champion. Such a weird way of wicking it but man it's perfect. I can crank it up all day and it takes almost insane levels of heat to get anything resembling a tainted cotton flavor. I can, if I want take up to 540 degrees or so and the wicking keeps up with 90% vg juice. I feel like I should make s video it works so well and pictures just don't really do it justice. I may try to augment other atomizers with this kind of raggity wicking method.

I usually stuff it so tight I then take a small screwdriver and space the coil again to make it perfect. And I've settled on five wraps including ends. lead wrap wrap wrap lead. |///|

I just ordered mine from Vapinart and it will arrive on Friday. Will it have the spare parts or do I need to order that à la carte?
It will be interesting to see. Clearly there is a new batch of SS GEMS around, which was unexpected I think) so maybe you will get the spares! Lets hope so :)

The turning upside down thing works most of the time, but not every time. I use ready x wick so my wicking is very consistent since it's never been changed. I've found it's best to be prepared with a paper towel and give it a few minutes before you put it somewhere where it would make a mess if it leaked. According to the instructions the quickest way to clear it is blow it into it with a paper towel over the airlhole. That works much quicker than my previous meat hound which was removing the coil and wiping everything clean.

I've been using my GEM for 24 hours now. Initially, I also got some flooding (gurgling) that could be blown out.

Rewicked it using less cotton and it still occurred. Rewicked a second time using more cotton than I normally would and it seems to have solved the issue - half a tank and no gurgling.

Now, need to find some replacement glass (purchased used and only had one). Still waiting on a response from IBTanked.

Now im trying to figure out which coil is better microcoil or separated, i also noticed that cotton in bottom juice channels need to be pushed deeply to let juice flow and keep wicking, shoulders trimmed just evenly with the edge of the deck. Gem working fine but still when i Turn it upside down a small drop of liq going from the drip. Erl in this matter was dry as desert;)

Just a heads up and something to be carful of. I've been using my GEM on Bugs Wizard Apprentice Evolved since they both came out. Love the combination and use it daily. However this morning I discovered my GEM leaked last night and the liquid ran down directly on to and in to the firing button. The air hole lines up directly above the firing button, at least it does on mine. More to the point......, now my LED does not show, as in it is completely dark and blank. The GEM appears to be firing, however it appears to be at very low watts, perhaps the lowest setting (7 watts) and it will not adjust back up. Even if it did I would have now way of knowing what the wattage is. Not sure yet to do about this. Buying another WAE is not an option at $299. I have sent Mark an email, waiting to hear back from him.
If I get my WEA repaired or replaced, I will be sure to remove the GEM at night when I put it away in the event that it might leak again down the tube and into the device. :-(
