The type b clone is nothing like the gem. Unless that's the new updated design. The type a doesn't show the deck. Anyway the authentic is amazing. I can't imagine the clone is anything but awful.

As I said we should leave the clone to the other ethread..haveing said that, one of the newre versions comes with MB logos engraved and the tin box. I dont like that but lets not go there...

back on topic I think!

Well especially since the authentic doesn't have any kind of authenticity validation. Now it's going to be a crap shoot selling. Presenting receipts. Etc.

So for the authentic.

Same thin on the Evic. Various screw levels various resistance readings. Spaced six wrap nickel. Read at .10 originally. Screwed in at .14 and now after firing a bit won't read lower than .12 which is too high. This is a .08 build Max :/. Same issues with the Evic Cr as every other temp device except th istick strangely. I suppose everything is right except the istick and the build station.

What does 6 spaced wraps wind up being for you lot?

Thanks, Q. I'm a bit farther away.
Do our sets include that AFC oring part?

R
I imagine they do. If not any silicone oring with a 1.5 or 1.6mm thickness will do the trick! Viton will work but its a bit stiffer and particlularly the 1.6mm is quite tight!

That was thoughtful of MB!

I have to admit I'm still on the fence a bit about my GEMs. Even when I get them wicked they vape beautifully for about a day then a start to get dry wicks/no liquid on my yihi devices (just no vape on the DNA 200). I can only guess the wick is choking out the juice flow, switched from cotton to rayon but the dry wick issue got worse.

I think I'll have to try keeping the juice channels clear and just having cotton on top of the channel aka the Erlk. I vape mostly 70/30 vg/pg blends.

I agree. When its good, its great but it seldom lasts very long. Often not even a single tank. Havent had any more problems on the DNA200 than anything else though!

As I'm staying with kanthal and having no resistance issues whatsoever, it's still my favourite flavour atty. Just wonderful with a strong NET tobacco on low watts.

R
I actually get no dry hits or gurgling with any atty. And the GEM performs splendidly under whatever conditions.

Received some 28g nife48 from zivipf today. 6 wrap compact microcoil .30 ohm. Been vaping on it for a few hours and resistance has been rock solid. TC seems to be working perfect. Assuming this continues this will probably be my default build for the GEM.
I have the exact same build. ID of 2.5 mm, wicked with RxW. 15J and 240C. Perfect. Been vaping this for about 2 days now. Think I prefer the NiFe48 above Kanthal, Ni, Ti and SS in the GEM.
