Is it normal for a flavor to have a perfume taste to it or would that be considered a bad juice? I picked up a melon e-juice from the local tobacco store. First few minutes it was a great new fruity flavor (my first non-tobacco flavor attempt) but as I puffed on it longer, the perfume taste started to take over and got pretty unbearable.

I'm pretty fresh off of analogs (day 9 today), so my taste and smell are just starting to returning. What do some of you think?

So the consensus is they either need to steep or they are not good products. I was a bit worried that some would say its normal and that's how its supposed to taste.. /phew

I had a number of juices that were perfumy or just tasted bad when I first started vaping about 3 months ago. I had bought all sample sizes, and from several different vendors. The ones I didn't like I just threw in the back of the case I use and just about forgot about them.

I dug back into them this week. The perfumy taste is gone now, and most are very vapable and pleasant. Some still suck :). I might even reorder one or two and let them steep a month.

I have a few bottles from Halo and Backwoods Brew, which when I first tried them they had the perfumey taste to them. I have steeped them for two days and they still have that perfumey taste. I hope the steeping works out better for you! Off to the classifieds:)

Two days is very likely not be enough time. Several juices I make don't hit their peak flavor for two weeks. I've not had BWB, but I'm relatively certain that's one of the ones that really requires more than a week to fully develop.

And, yeah, some juices are just perfumey, but I wouldn't draw that conclusion until it's been around for about a month.
