Lmao! AOL was the .....! We used to stay up for hours chatting to people we had no idea who they were...and if we didn't like 'em, there was always commands to disable their chat or PC;)

Lmao good times.. we would get disks and use a program that would make umm numbers that would keep the account live for a while when it got deleted we would use a new disk. When AOL finally went unlimited we all went nuts, the damn line was allways busy my modem couldn't connect. I used to use a local BBS as well, and telnet.. that's a whole other can of worms right there.

Short version vaping story - I married someone who treats cancer for a living, and lost my dad too soon to smoking a few years back, so quitting was always a priority. Did it with e-cigs about 7 months ago, and haven't looked back. It's nicotine and it's a gadget, what's not to love?

I remember dropping some significant coin to get my first MP3 player sporting a massive(?) 32MB of on-board storage to play like...12 songs. I think Apple was circling the drain about then.... Nothing had been called an i-thing yet; I think they were still e-somethings if they were cool technology.

31 years old, started candy cigarettes when I was 5 but had to give them up due to increased pressure on the 7-11s in my area to stop selling them. Big Brother sucks. ;)

Let's see, I started smoking at 14, and despite my parents finding a pack of Parliaments in a Stratego game box I kept on going. Smoked all the way until I was 29. I quit smoking and started using swedish Snus at that point which I really really enjoyed. But it just got to be nasty; little dry snus packets would fall out of my tin and onto the ground, and every once in a while I'd fall asleep with it in my mouth, spit it out in the night, and find brown stains on stuff. Really, not pleasant at all.

I had tried vaping way back when, and found the burnt polyfill taste disgusting. The only one I tried which was halfway decent was a Gamucci I bought around like 2007-2008. But a friend let me try a V2, and I saw that things had changed a bit; better batteries, cartomizers instead of cart/atty/battery setups, etc. I started with V2, they ran out of my favorite juice, so I tried Bloog, and stuck with them for a good long while.

In the last few weeks I discovered eGo, bought a bunch of various cartos, tanks, etc. and then last week got my Provari Mini. At last, with a Provari Mini and a Phiniac Tallboy tank, I've found...perfection.

P.S. TURTLE POWER

That said, I started smoking at the age of 17. Quit each time I was pregnant, only to give in to the crazy-making cravings after I had my children. Discovered the e-cig back in 2008, but didn't buy one until 2010, almost a year after my father died. He had COPD, unbeknownst to me, but it was his heart that did him in at 54. :( I was noticing a little wheeze when I went to bed...and hated it. So, I got a disposable at first, and then an eGo. Got my MIL to try e-cigs later that year, and after nothing else ever worked for her-this did. She started in October, and was totally off nicotine by March. Unfortunately she died from COPD (we think, never did get a dx) in July. I started smoking again after she died. Recently re-started vaping and quit cigs. Got a Lavatube, I love VV!!

Sorry but look at wiki's definition of Generation "Y"
Generation Y - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In my opinion, and in the marketing industry, generation Y is the 25-34 years old (I'm writing this in 2012 - for prosperity!)

But, I must admit that there is no "real" generations - these are only imaginary categorizations that can be debated forever.

I am happy to see that this thread keeps getting action an participation. Let's unite and become a lobby in the vaping community! (I don't care what they say about anyway... I don't care 'bout that! I don't care 'bout that!) ;)
