I only use a lighter 
Queen of Hearts uses her Gas Hob( if thats the right name) and others use butane torches, but Im happy with a ciggy lighter, go with what floats your boat

Just for curiosity sake, have you tried testing it without a coil? As in, just the line itself with no mesh or kanthal.
I am waiting for second run on these, can anyone tell me what the cost was on the 1st run?

I've made a coil that was lasting waahooo! 2 ohm's at 3.7v, so what did I do, made another and pop! doh, I had to fiddle lol. Shorts I keep getting mainly are from the join on the lower post! glow glow quick quick POP! had to use it on the don as keep getting errors on the ole provari! Today's another day!
If you are using it on Provari you will have to burn the mesh right.
Buttan torch not cig lighter. I got my provari yesterday and i could not
get it higher than 3.3V nd i made good setup. But my buttan torch is broken
and i use a lighter. In the evning i got to 4.0-4.3V That is with 4 wraps.
Started from 1.2ohm and after using it at 3.3V for few hours got it to 1.7ohm

Congrats KC, mine was in New Jersey yesterday. If it doesn't come today, I'm screwed until Monday. No one to sign on Fridays or Saturdays.

Nope, decided against it.. mostly due to financial reasons. I have an Orion I'm playing with now though, so it's satisfied that need anyway.

I only asked cause I thought people who ordered the mini with the Line might have to wait a little longer. Hey great minds think a like I got a Orion also. I have to wait tho a friend is going to mod it for me. But it's so small and pretty I think it will be a great mod and rebuildable all in one. can't wait to try it. But I'm really excited about the Line so hope today is the day.
