I received my V2 last night. I have not received the torch yet, so I did the whole setup with a grill lighter. It is working pretty well. I am not getting the vapor production I was expecting from watching the many videos. I used the 325 mesh and I have a 4-5 wrap configuration. Any suggestions? It is working its just not producing much vapor.

Yes that is pretty. My wraps are not that close together. Im having trouble getting the first wrap tight around the wick, so I end up w a glowing spot right there. I rewrapped it once and got some great hits for a few minutes. Thanks for the input. I will get it. When I make up my mind to something the world stops until it happens. Thanks again.

Ok so I have the coil working properly. Now my problem is airflow. Its like there is no air getting thru, I have to suck like nobodys business to get a decent amount of vape. When I do suck till my head turns red, I do get a pretty decent vape, but there must be something I can adjust to get better flow?

Try washing the top cap , maybe something is stuck in the air hole.
And if you vape with 3.7V device make 2/3 or 3/4 wraps , not more.

I am able to get the tip of a round wood toothpick thru the hole. I am using it on a VV device and at any voltage it seems like the airhole is at least twice as small as it should be.

You have a problem with resistance. Not with the hole. You can drill the wider hole
but you will lose flavor. It would be better if you make a LR setup.
Like i said milion times before , Line is made for 3.7V devices , not HV vaping.
You can do it , but what is the point of genesis than?

You are misinterpreting my question. This is the first Im hearing that this is meant for 3.7v vaping. I guess I assumed if the resistance could be adjusted, so could the voltage. This is my first rebuildable. I watch all these vidoes and I do exactly as what I see, and I'm not getting any air flowing thru my device. I am just trying to figure this thing out. I am not trying to piss anybody off. I have to suck till I'm red in the face, seems to me there is an airflow problem.
I have since loosened the atty from the PV to the point where it is just barely making contact with the current, and it is wobbling around atop my PV, and now I'm getting better airflow. Could you please tell me how air gets thru a tank full of liquid? What am I missing here?

Hey kwalka, can you post some pic's of your setup? The airflow on the Line does not occur at the connector, it occurs through the pin-size hole in the cap. IMG_20120522_114751.jpg

Yes, thats exactly how mine looks. So why is there a hole inside, about the same size that leads into the tank? You know, now that I've been vaping on this coil for a couple of days it is hitting better. Even with the atty threaded in all the way. This may of been a case of inexperience. I did not realize there was a break in period on the coils.
