Felíz año nuevo !!!
I'm still waiting for my Line (first round) f... Mexican postal service

meanwhile I have received the Mini (last week) and was playing with it and want to share something that could be useful for others (it could apply to the Line also).
I have made like 10 wicks and 10
coils, so far I had having problems of the type: coil red glowing on the silver terminals end, wick not wicking properly the liquid and so on (the mesh has been very well oxidized, the Kanthal wire was tightened to the silver terminals, tryied different combinations of liquid 100%VG, 70%VG -30%PG, 80%PG - 20%VG, etc.).
First thing I have noticed was I always ended with thin mesh it always was too loose on the liquid container access hole with the recommended mesh dimensions (37mm long and 27mm - 25mm wide:
www.elektronske-cigarete.info/forum/index.php?topic=894.msg11150#msg11150 or Line 24x38mm, MiniGen 24x32mm:
www.elektronske-cigarete.info/forum/index.php?topic=894.msg11752#msg11752), due this I ended cutting a 50mm wide x 35 mm long, this wick wasn't wicking properly and it was almost impossible to not have the kanthal red glowing on the end that connects to the silver terminals, tryied with different mesh sizes, oxidized lot of times using different techniques and recommendations).
After some reading I found out Del Boy posted about no to use the 400 super fine mesh, I didn't have idea of what kind of 400 mesh I was using, I was using one that was included with the Scubagen V3 coop, I think it is ultrafine or superfine 400 mesh, I have compared it with another 400 mesh I have and the Scubagen V3 one was softer.
So finally I made a new mesh roll with the harder mesh, 35mm long x 27mm wide, it fitted perfectly, made a 2ohms coil (3-4 turns 34 awg kanthal wire) and voilà! all my previous problems solved, wick wicking properly, no red glowing kanthal, lot of vapor, good
throat hit.

Personal conclusion:
mesh type plays a big role on the Mini performance and Del Boy text:
SS mesh #400 (do not use super fine)
is very important.
If you are having problems with your Line / Mini setup, check your 400 mesh type.
