Do you know what the maximum capacity is there?

The room they gave us had a capacity of 120, I'm pretty sure. They were going to put us in their smaller area because the bigger area was already reserved but then the people cancelled at the last minute. I believe the smaller area was 50-70 and our area was 80-120.

We might want to aim for the bigger room, sounds like we might have a couple of vendors, maybe more than 5 and it seems there is an interest from people as far as a 2-3 hour drive.

OK, just wanted to make sure everyone knows, and goes to the same place for tomorrows planning meeting.
Chatter97 is planning on being there around 12:00 Noon, so any time after that (or before if you wish ) will be fine. He's the viking looking guy with a red beard and blondish hair, that's as big as a gorilla (according to his description ). Did I get it right, Chatter? LOL

Sidelines Sports Bar and Grille -
1440 Roswell Road
Marietta, GA

Anyone and everyone is welcome to attend, but remember, this is only a meeting to help plan the Get Together, and we will post the details of that when we have them.

Everyone that is interested in the Get Together need not show up at this meeting. This is for those that can/will/want to help out with the details (unless you just want to hang out and meet a few of us), but there will be no festivities (unless you want to start them ).

I'm looking forward to meeting with some of you, and really appreciate all the help I can get from those of you wishing to participate in the planning.

I disappeared for the last few days, cuz I took a severe cold (or light case of flu?) and have done nothing but sleep and work all week. I don't think I'm contagious any more, and plan to come by Sidelines tomorrow, but not sure how long I'll stay. (Put me in a corner and wave at me.)

Anywhoo, I have a printout of info from Andretti's to share (and a copy for Balthezar), as well as a 'pitcher' of sssssssomethin for the table!

I'll catch-up here in a little bit, and get 'the list' updated. GLAD to be BACK in the land of the 'feeling pretty good' folks!

been keeping up with the thread also, just needed a little time
to make sure i could commit to the big get together

been pretty busy around here with a new baby boy born the day after
thanksgiving but all are home now and all is well

i live in hampton about 7 minutes from the atlanta raceway or about 7
minutes from hwy75-exit 221, depending on which way ya coming from, lol

i see you live in fettvull, thats how my daddy use to say it, lol
that practically makes us next door neighbors...you wouldnt happen to
have a cup of sugar i could borrow, would ya? just kiddin !

anywho, please count me and the little lady in on the shindig
sounds like its gonna be a blast

That list is gonna get crazy as soon as the other forums are involved. I'm willing to bet there are a bunch of people who haven't piped up yet, but will when we set an actual date. This is gonna be fun!

If we do a picnic, I imagine we'll need a fire permit to grill a small herd of cows in a burning building, a couple of hottubs of tater salad...and a swimming pool of lemonade (or 'Long Island Iced Tea')!

Madness I dare say. we definitely need to figure a date and place tomorrow, that will allow us to move forward with more certainty. We will probably need to pick a location that can support 80 to 120 just to make sure we have some room for growth. Things to discuss tomorrow, see whoever will be there to help kick off the planning of this shindig and all others when we finally meet at the big vape brouhaha!

My neighbor will talk to Awesome Vapor when she gets back in town this week. Her sister, that started all of us vaping, would love to come. So that's possible plus 3 for me. So jealous of you guys that are meeting up today! Thanks for doing the groundwork - this is going to be so much fun. Hopefully we will spurn this into an Atlanta Vapor Club - there seems to be a lot of interest! Oh, and GO FALCONS!!!!
