McDonough here, willing to go about anywhere in metro Atlanta. Hubby and I went to the meet at Old Town in Lawrencville and the room was great, food was fine, the staff were great. Meeting some other Vapers was AWESOME!! Cant help with planning, sorry, life is too unpredictable for me, but can committ to being at the "Big Meet".

Hi MikenGA, and everyone! Didn't mean to say hello, then drop off the face of the Earth... couldn't find my way back to this thread. Anyway I'm still interested (& finally found my way back here ). BTW I'm in the sprawling metropolis of Greenwood, SC (well, it *is* bigger than Williamston, at least by a people or two), less than an hour's drive South of Anderson/Williamston. I usually hit I-85 at the Anderson-Townville exit when going to Atlanta (for no particular reason, just to enjoy the drive).

Just wanted to check back in, gonna head over now & follow this thread to see how it's going. Blessings to all!

If we do a picnic, I imagine we'll need a fire permit to grill a small herd of cows in a burning building, a couple of hottubs of tater salad...and a swimming pool of lemonade (or 'Long Island Iced Tea')!

Yes, that's the one. It was really nice meeting you gentlemen today! And it was fun getting to taste test juices and test drive some mods. And that was just seven of us. I can't imagine how fun x 10 will be in February.

Not sue how I walked away without any assignment. Chaos, feel free to hit me up if I can do anything.

The meeting went very well I think. As Chaos said, our best bet seems to be Olde Towne Tavern & Grille - Lawrenceville. He contacted them but the manager was not in, but will get back to him hopefully tomorrow, and should be able to let him know if we can get a reservation in February. Thanks to ChaosAffect, Chatter97, Ernesto, Rabernet, MikenGA and Sammy43 for the help and support today, couldn't have gone this far without you all.

They have an excellent beer list, the food is just short of excellence and they are on my wifes "aproved" list for a frozen Margurita. (VERY VERY short list.)

Posted two entries before this. Left shortly after the end of the game and giving rabernet some advice. February should be fun, good eats and vapes, looking to get some e vendors, raffle to raise some money for cassa, maybe some door prizes, it will be great!. More details to come once we get a reservation locked down, as chaos said.

I love this idea. Maybe hold one in different cities throughout the state? I saw some southsiders on here. What better place than Southside Steve's? I'm sure someone down there knows him and can ask right? If not, I'm sure I could call and ask him. As for the northside up here, I'm sure there are a few places that would love to have the business. Also, the planners might try giving Jeff a shout over at RockNRoll Vapor, as I'm sure he will want in on this gathering.

How did I miss the Sweetwater 420 love? Was that before I got there?

And naw - Chatter, Balthezar and Chaos left with me. I tried to run Chatter over in the parking lot. Good thing he was paying attention! ;-)

I believe that RockNRoll is on our list of vendors to contact.

On your idea, maybe this will morph in a regular GA Vapors Club, and then we can have chapters in different areas of the state, with folks in those chapters who can coordinate their local area meets.

The chapter idea is fantastic. I book bands so I can start making sure they are vaping approved if anyone would be interested in coming out and making a night of it.
