Hey Scott i love your reviews too and wasn't implying anything by my comments.

I think i must have watched them all :) this e-cig thing has become an obsession.

All the best
Andy

Hi andy,

no, I didn't think that at all mate! Lol

I was in agreement with you, I think it would be great for Grimm to review both models too.........always good to get a second opinion!

Cheers,

Scott

Hi Grimm,

you are the only other reviewer on the net and especially this forum who I have respect for and value their opinion (apart from myself of course, lol!)

and I agree, I do feel that our thoughts are usually very similar :)

all the best,

cheers,

Scott

wow! thank you , that means a lot coming from you Scott. Someday i'll have to come to the UK and we can have a vape and a pint... ha ha..

Maybe this is abit off but I would like to see reviews of products after a reasonable amount of use time (at least 3 weeks).

I've kind of stopped watching the reviews because no one adresses the longevity factor of PVs. Besides they ALL work great out of the box....

I have seven different PVs and they have all (except the SD) have failed/broken within the first 2 weeks.8-o

Maybe I'm hard on them BUT I don't think I'm the only one.

Consumers Reports does it for cars and appliances. I read/subscribe to it for that reason.

Sorry guys but the reviews don't tell the wole story.

Grimm tends to do follow-ups a couple of weeks after his initial review.
To break seven of what are essentially heavy duty flash-lights (unless you're talking about regular e-cigs) is pretty unlucky. There's only 3 failure points, the switch, the casing and the atomizer connector, even my cheap plastic non-hardwaring boxmods with super-cheap switches haven't failed after a few months of use and my magnum is still going. None of these are really as solid as a 905.

you are correct , i like to do a "first impressions" video right away , then do a followup no sooner than 2-3 weeks later. A PV you love at your house , in front of your computer , might turn out to be a pain in the ... when you are at the bar , or in your car.

This idea of the SD with a side switch and an LED collar is Screamers baby . All respect to Cisco ( tho he did credit screamer in his thread ) but this wasn't Cisco's idea.

man, i cant keep up with this!

so is this right then:-

trog comes up with screwdriver, screamer does a screwdriver mod /copy, cisco does a copy of the screwdriver mod / copy, cisco tries to sell his copy of a trog / screamer screwdriver mod / copy, chinese manufacturer screws everyone.

is that correct? lol

(the above is all based on hearsay..........i dont know exactly what is true!)

Received my dse905 from Heaven gifts yesterday. The switch (upper battery housing) was DOA. There was a card in the box stamped ''QA PASSED''. I would really like to see the procedures of that QA department...

I contacted them and they are shipping me a new switch (they did not asked me to send the faulty one). At least that.

Yes, they replied really fast and were really kind. The worst thing is not being replied to. But i received 2 bottles of 18 mg e-liquid with my order (Litchi & Flue Cured tobacco) and they're both f*in GREAT! the throat hit is just plain cruel (maybe because i had been vaping on 14mg cash's Cola for a week :p). So at least i had something to enjoy in my package:)

I got my 905 yesterday from Saveasmoker.com , It took 1 week to get here by USPS snail mail.

SO far the batteries do last a long time ( no actual times yet ) , the LED is BRIGHT to BRIGHT , if it's dark it sticks out like a COP ! they definately could tone it down some .

The switch on the bottom should just be eliminated IMO it's kindof a hassle ( turns on/off very easy ) or use a rotary switch or slider switch ( I know more $$ )

The atty is a 901 ( my first use of one ) so far I like it I have to learn how much it can take as far as dripping is concerned , I have some fish tank filler for my cart. but it wants to catch on the atty to much . ( I need to try the blue stuff I guess ?? )

The build is decent they use hot glue to hold things in place , the body is crome plated steel I believe ? so far nothing has broken , I found these from a Chinese supplier for $30 each ( forgot the name ? )

Right. Here's yer "Improved" Screwdriver, folks:

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/healthcabin/53091-dse905-self-immolation.html

Me, I have a real Screwdriver. It's the only device I own. Had it for 6 months. Works
perfectly. Just got a second SD body for $59.

If ya think the SD is too expensive there is a plethora of other wonderful mods out there. The Prodigy, the Silver Bullet, The Chuck (Big and Little) and the Super T to name a few.

But my advice is stay away from the 905. You really DO get what ya pay for...

Hey yall, it was horrible but this entire thread was a creation just to gauge some metrics. You can stop posting in it now. I'd point out this is only my second post in it.

Love You

hey Zofryer

thanks for the permission to stop posting .

if you don't explain what "this entire thread was a creation just to gauge some metrics" is all about. then you just seem rude and arrogant to me.

All the best
Andy
