Well I'm one of those who come off as narcissistic because my avatar is a picture of me. Actually I'm not narcissistic, I'm just not clever enough to come up with a cooler avatar.

I'm 24 and have smoked since I was 18. Hate what it does to my throat in the morning and my voice (was a tenor, now a baritone) but I do it anyway. *sigh*

In terms of work, I'm an advertising Account Executive. Please don't get mad at me, I do ads for Big Pharma. The way I see it though, I have an ear to the ground at least and I'm willing to contribute any info i hear through the grapevine. Personally I'd love to work on ads for e-cigs if it EVER happens. I'd fight for that account tooth and nail!

Anyways, just so glad I found this forum, love everyone on it and wish we didn't all live so far away from each other! Very very supportive and nice people.

My name is Bryan, but all of my friends call me Zoomie. I'm 22, and I'm a 3E551, Engineering Journeyman, in the United States Air Force. My wonderful wife is currently in technical training school to become a loadmaster, also in the USAF.

I picked up smoking at the end of my last deployment, and kept up the habit for nearly one year. I used Chantix to quit the first time, but the psychological side effects of Chantix weren't worth it. Fast forward another year, and I'm deployed again. This time I looked to alternatives to pills to help me quit, and was pleasantly surprised to find the E-Cig.

Currently I own one E-Cig, purchased through puresmoker.com, and I've already ordered a back up and some JC juice to experiment with.

My hobbies include drag racing, automotive work, collecting firearms, and digital photography/manipulation. My firearms collection contains just under 20 unique pieces that I'd be willing to discuss with any other enthusiast. My current garage includes an '05 SRT4, '89 Mustang LX 5.0 'Vert, '71 Mach 1 Mustang, and the wifey's '95 Slowmaro .

Hello All.

My REAL name is Daron. I'm 44, brown (gray) hair, blue eyes, two arms, legs, and eyes. I have twin 21 year old daughters who live with me (until they finish college) and so I REALLY need the nic fix. :) I been smoking for 30+ years, but am happy to say that I have been 100% real cig free for 3 days now, though for the last 4 weeks I been down to 2-4 a day thanks to the e-cig. Currently using a Janty, An Njoy, Some generic pens, and one pretty awsome mini, though I only use that at home.

I'm looking for a SWF, 18-20.........Just kidding. lol

But in the NOT kidding catagory....Thanks to all who post here. It's been a real help, and has started to improve my health, my mood, and the happiness of the people around me. THANK YOU!!!

It's yummy, 'specially the coconut. It's going to be my treat vape when I've been good ;)

I have cherry and it's great when mixed with vanilla. These are the only 2 e-liquids I have bought being a newbie at this. I will try a coconut too but need you to give me the link to the one you use if that's ok. I wanted to be safe too!

Kate, I can also post links now so I will be researching the subject for a while and will scatter some good websites around the forum for information that could be interesting when I have a bunch of them. For now, I am just asking questions myself, and touching on my limited experiences with this product.

My wife and I are very happy with the results, and after 4 days we can taste and smell food better, and I don't have to stop drinking booze like I had to when I previosuly quit. My e-cig goes very well with a pint of Guiness I think.

2 People at work have ordered them and get them next week. I will be seeing them use it, and will try and get them to sign up to this forum. I also posted the forum on the main page of my website, along with a link to pillbox38 in UK and PureSmoke in USA.

I am Glenn Roast BSc(Hons) MBCS CITP MCP and I welcome you to visit my website.

I also have www.roasty.co.uk but I'm saving it for a website dedicated to finding many Roast's in world that share my surname.
I have yet to develop it, but I think a forum of my own would be a good way to achieve a network of Roasts. There is a resturant in London called "Roast" and I have a credit card with "Roast" on it from there for points for meals when you eat there. I like it a lot...

Nothing bad on there, and no bad code. The links section will help you secure your windows pc, and the main page also has links to my cousin's music band Missing Andy. I have added to the website over the last 2 years, and continue to enjoy developing it but keeping it very simple for compatibility. No large flash or activex apart from the google analytics that tells me where in the world people are viewing my site and where they visit.

I keep personal info off the site and my cv, like phone number and address because you never know with the internet who you are dealing with! I'm not a very secret person but I choose to be careful with the informaiton I give our to the world about me as I think many others should.

Hope you enjoy my website, and if you can deface any of my photos, please get them from my site and email them to me and I promise to put the photo up if it's not offensive to the public! You won't offend me by doing it though, I want some decent artwork of my warped photos to put up there :D

Blimey Cyberdude, this is a thread about Freesmoke eliquid, is it their cherry you've tried?

Tell us all about yourself here - http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/general-discussion/1018-get-know-your-fellow-addict.html

Don't go off topic too much, you don't want to upset the mods or tidy people do you?

Fair play, not wishing to upset anyone but just thought I would show you all my links as I can now post them for the first time, I posted all of mine in one go to say hello. Could have started a new thread and may do for that then. I wanted people to know I am a real person and I have a lot of info about me on the websites, but I will fill out this forum's one too no probs.

Yeah, the Cherry 11MG is from PillBox38 on Ebay a.k.a Jason, a brand of his called www.totallywicked-eliquid.co.uk
I do not know about the FreeSmoke E-Liquid. What is the difference, and is it considered safe by any toxology reports? I presume the pillbox liquid is safe to use but I don't know the difference? Hope you can educate me on this one.

What are the best brands and flavours of liquid to go for and are they expensive? I used the money calculator saver on The Electric Cigarette Company, but could not change the figure for daily cost, so will have to work it out myself how much money I save by DIY liquid and not smoking baccy anymore.

Any links to a safe coconut would be appreiciated.

Thanks,

I'm Shannon, 35 from Florida. I'm a happily married Mom of 2 girls (7 and 3) and a work at home Mom. We have two dogs and a cat - so basically, with the kids, the animals and the hubby - I live in a zoo! When I'm not working or running the kids somewhere or cooking or cleaning or chasing the kids or helping with homework or one of the million other things I do every day, I can be found either here on the forum while enjoying my e-cig or curled up on the sofa with my e-cig and my other favorite gadget, my Amazon Kindle. Smoking inside without any smoke and reading books where I don't have to turn the page and can download anything I want to read in less than 30 seconds...man technology is wonderful! :D

I'm Kristy, 44 , live in the NW US, a full-time mom of 7 - 4 boys, 3 girls (youngest 6 1/2 & oldest 19 1/2).
I've been smoking since I was 9 yrs old! STUPID kid I was!!!!!!!!!!! I was smoking 20 to 40 cigs a day (that was back in March). On occassion, I have 0 to 6 real cigs, right now, trying to go for a full week with only the e-cig.
My kids & I take care of unwanted pets (got a neighbor who doesn't spay or make sure her animals have food & water, so we keep food & water in a few different locations so the strays don't go hungry. Someone has to care for those who can't care for themselves & I feel so sorry for those animals & I don't want them to die. Wish I were rich so I could help not only animals but people in need.
Thanks to everyone on the forum for your advice & I hope the e-cig stays around for a LONG time!!!!!!!!!

My turn!

Name's Jason, 37. Born in Dallas, lived with grandparents in Korea for a year, then in Peoria, IL for a few years, moved to Costa Rica for 2 years, Chile for 6 years, back to Peoria for 2, back to Chile for 2 and graduated high school there, studied at Wharton undergrad in Philadelphia (father's choice - either that or pre-med then med school - I took the easier route).

Moved to NYC and have been working at an independent dance record label/music publisher for 12 years. Boss is the guy who produced Madonna's first hits and launched her career. Small company (there's 7 of us and I'm the business affairs department), low pay but very comfortable job. Considered working at a major but with the music industry as it is now that's not the safest path to take. Besides, I like the laid back environment at my current job.

Started smoking in college, mostly because all the Asian friends I hung out with were smokers -- the smoke was disgusting to me until I picked up the habit myself. Been smoking about a 1/2 pack a day for 20 years until I found out about the e-cig last week. Now that I'm equipped with that, I've no desire to smoke real bogues.

Used to DJ club, house, trance, breakbeat from college until 2002, then stopped going to clubs and raves. Got burnt out from too much fun. These days are mostly spent at home with my girlfriend of 5 years watching Asian films and Japanese/Korean TV dramas (don't speak the languages, rely on English subtitles) and playing videogames on PS2, PS3, PSP, DS and wii.

Was active in martial arts from age 6 until 30. Took Taekwondo for about 12 years straight, but at different schools since I moved around a lot. Then dabbled in Goju Ryu Karate, Shotokan, Bujinkan Taijutsu, GoKempoJutsu, Iaido, Kendo, and Brazilian Jiujitsu.

After I met my girlfriend, stopped training for 5 years and got fat and lazy. My girlfriend's from Hong Kong, so her family's interests are very food-centric. Been eatin' well since I met her!

I've been a fan of mixed martial arts since the very first UFC. Couple months ago decided to get back in shape so took up Judo and Kickboxing for a month. Then found an awesome Sambo school and have been training there since. It's really hard for me now because of the smoking and my weight gain - I get winded from climbing a flight of stairs, never mind the warmups during class. But now that I have quit smoking and will only vape, I'm hoping it'll become easier. I've read other people's posts here about their lung capacity/conditioning improving.

Happy to be part of this forum, people are friendly and helpful. Nice to meet you all.

My name is Mateusz(english equivalent is Mathew), I'm 22 and I live in Warsaw, Poland. I'm a programmer and a student in Warsaw University of Technology. Some day I wish to become game developer, as it's what I do in my spare time. For now I worked in Psiloc as a symbian developer, cause it's almost impossible to find a part time job in game dev. I'm a snowboard freak also. Thinking of it almost all the time. I even got my job solely to have money to go snowboarding not just once, but a few times in each season. I'm still living with my parents but I'll probably move out in a near future. The cost of renting a flat in Warsaw is plain ridiculus - I got around 1100zl for a part time job in Psiloc, and renting a small flat is >1200zl. Now I'm looking for a better payed job, so I can live on my own.

The history behind my smoking is real stupidity. My parents smoked, and I was fighting them since I remember. They always said how hard is it to quit, and I didn't belive them(I smoked pot through hollidays since I was 16 and haven't got any probs quiting it during the school year). My last idea was that I'll start smoking, get addicted and then quit to show them that they can do this too. It was the most stupid thing I've ever done in my life. At the beginning I even got an alarm, so I would smoke a cig every hour. In the end I couldn't quit myself, now I put all my hope in ecigs(I tried the gums and pills before, but it didn't work).

What else? I love salsa, and dancing in general. I spend every weekend on salsa parties, and for the last year, we've build a quite large group of friends(50+) and now it's like my second home for weekends :) And that sums it up for me :) I will probably write a lot here, as it's a great excercise to improve my english(I understand everything, but it's a whole different story to write/speak myself).

Cheers,
novo.

No really I am. Aren't we all?! haha. I'm 34, I live in Houston Tx. I work as a wireless networking engineer supporting our networking products at a major PC manufacturer. I play trumpet and guitar, and occasionally do my own home studio recordings. Just recently I've gotten into bikes, been riding my first street bike for about 6 months now - it's a 2006 SV650s. Nothing like enjoying a nice weekend ride on the bike. That's about all I do. Work takes over most of the time!
