if esterigon has to look like one unit with tilemahos hybrid, maybe the only we have to do is a mark for the air hole and nothing else River?
we cant make CNC wings because base is thin River. Only laser wings. But laser is made by hand and it will not be exactly on the air hole
why not just laser engrave the wings in tilemahos tank like the previous atomizers, it would look great and just add 2 notches or 2 GG engravings on each side of the base like the penelope v3 so you can align the air holes, just an idea 
also kinda bumed that only captain got that slick esterigon whit wings.

the lack of wings on Esterigon is exactly why I'm pushing so hard for wings on Tilemahos. We already have GG defined on Esterigon. We don't need another GG on the hybrid Tilemahos, we need wings to complete the look.
yes but hand is not accurate at all river. Thats why engravings on penelope v3 are not in line with the cuts for gripping. And thats why I thought of a mark only
you need it for the air flow control ring to be mobile I guess?
I was kinda wondering the same thing. It seems like it adds a tiny bit extra length and throws an additional line in the whole look. Also 1 less piece I would think would be cheaper maybe? The only real reason I could see for this design is it would allow the possibility of screwing on a 510 base kinda like the one on Ithaka down the road although since people will be buying the device with a 510 base already (unless it is offered in hybrid mode only down the road) I don't see this as something that is needed.
Also is it just me or did the native base air control ring look thicker then the one already on Esterigon?
I will admit I can find the air hole on my Esterigon by looking but I think it could be hard for some to find it without some kind of marking especially in low light or for people who have a harder time seeing.
Personally I think if wings aren't an option for the marker a small dot like on Esterigon would be best. Although I would like to see the GG wings somewhere on the completed device. And while it will not stop me from buying a couple Tilemahos I think the block lettering looks very out of place sitting on top of Esterigon and in general isn't very GGish my the current standard anyways. This is just my .02 though.
Ohh and thank you Imeo for the video showing both versions side by side. The original video was good but I think this will help people make the decision when it is available.

The reason for the rethreater is that threads of esterigon are 19mm. If we make a 19mm threads on tilemahos hybrid base then its AD ring cant go around to its base
