I bought two GGTB's two weeks ago the first week one of the springs collapsed useing two RCR123 3.2 volt batteries. Today the other GGTB spring collapsed useing two RCR123 3.2 volt batteries. When both collapsed they shorted and heated the batteries and weakened the springs. If anyone else has had problems with their springs with a GGTB please post here.

the first ggtb had a atomizer that was tight on the top and the second on had a cartomizer that was very tight none were loose and the screw I always check when replacing batterys that its tight enough I cant turn it with my fingers and I checked the cartomizer on another 901 mod I have and it worked fine

I believe a stronger spring would be a nice feature. I've had this same problem. I have also had problems with the small black plastic piece in the top cap. I believe a more durable solution needs to be found as the black plastic piece can be easily stripped. It's very easy to overtighten the atty, cartomizer, or, especially the AFS, effectively loosening the black plastic piece Once loosened or stripped, juice can leak in and cause a short. I think the GGTB is a beautiful device, but this black plastic piece and the weak spring are shortcomings that need to be remedied.

spring works as a kind of fuse too jd my friend. If I make a stronger spring then if a short happens battery may explode before spring melts:)

Guys, the issue is with your atomizers that you screw them hard. This cause a short so atomizer get damaged and the spring melts. I made the pin longer to fit some atomizers that have short center post. There are people from the first batch of GGTB that ask me if I have longer pins to fit their "short pin" atomizers. Cameron from UK can confirm that. He asks me all the time for those pins.

You have a device that doesnt have problems. The plastic doesnt have a problem too exept you screw it and unscrew it often. But there is no reason to do that:)

Just to be clear to newbies reading this thread,I'll clear up one thing right away.

I have had my GGTB for an age now and juice goes into the connector whether you use atty's or cartomizers(its a gravity thing I'm afraid),often I just clean out with tissue but today to be sure I know what I'm talking about I filled the connector up with juice added a cartomizer and vaped..guess what? no shorts :D

Imeo please refer to the new post I started calle "GGTB issues". You will see that there is a problem. I am not a newbie. Just because JohnUK doesn't have the issue, doesn't mean it's not an issue. That's very flawed logic. Please listen with an open mind and you will make your customers happier. This needs to be addressed.

The two GGTB I ordered were also from VaporKings. I like the looks and feel of the GG but I think there could have been a fuse that was placed in the bottom cap that would blow if there was any type of short and have a stronger spring so you could replace the fuse and not have to wait to get another spring. I have not found any replacement parts that are stocked at the US GG store site. If you want too keep costumers happy Imeo I think this is an issue that should be addressed and have parts available at all your GG outlet stores.
