My GaussBoys magnets just arrived today, and they're pretty perfect. Strong little suckers, too... the throw doesn't feel all that different from having the spring in there, just a little easier.

I was only planning to use them in on of my four GGs, but I got enough... I may just end up making the switch to magnets across all of 'em. I'm really loving the feel of this switch.

You can learn a lot in the first couple months... Didn't take me long to figure out that Imeo makes some pretty amazing stuff. And I needed a PV for each of my GG atty/tanks. I couldn't just stick those on any old mod, now, could I? :)

GaussBoys magnets arrived, and I just installed a trio of them in my SS Stealth switch ... very simple to do, and very smooth action. It was simple to sort out the slightly smaller ones by laying a straightedge lengthwise across the whole tubular stack of magnets as they lay on the desktop; the magnets that are slightly smaller in diameter show a thin sliver of light at the straightedge (of the 20 magnets I got, all fit in the switch tube but some were snug and wouldn't slide freely; I put two of those in the bottom, since the bottom ones don't slide anyway).

I also got my magnets today. I do like them, it's easier to push the button, I have 3 alternating magnets in the button. I do kind of wish I could put another one in to make it a little tighter but it's ok. The only thing about the magnets is that I think there is a very small chance the button won't fire if the button face isn't touching the side of the screw part, if that makes sense? With the spring there is always contact through the spring. With that said, I don't think there is a high chance of the button not firing with the magnets, but if you try hard enough I think you can push the button in without it touching the sides.
Anyway, I'm keeping the magnets for now and am gonna see how it goes. So far so good, though! Thanks for the tip on where to get them and everything!

You are right mostly. I used magnets for a few months but got tired of the misfires and the partial fires I got with magnets in some buttons. I found it kinda depends on your button setup and style and how you like your throw. I found that the magnets worked best if your button pressed to where the button top's lip made contact with the button housing. On adjustable throw buttons it is possible to set this up but means you are limited to the throw this setup automatically causes. On the non adjustable throw buttons this wasn't always possible. I also found that the above was't necessary if you pushed the button at an angle. Finally I found my Kick didn't get along well with the magnets sometimes it worked sometimes it didn't. All in all I switched to brass springs and I am very happy with the setup.

These are just my findings and prefrence so please take it as you will.

Fright, yeah that's exactly what I meant. So far I haven't had any accidental misfires, but I also haven't used a kick (I do have one coming in the mail, not sure how much I'll use it, though)
I do have a feeling I will go back to the spring at some point, because I do like the tighter push button the spring gives.

I actually went back to the brass spring for the reasonds fright and I discussed. Once in a while I use my kick (mainly when it's time to make a new coil and I don't feel like it, I use the kick to up my wattage) so the brass spring helps that more as well.
Ah well, I've got a bunch of little magnets I can stick on my refrigerator now

I'm undecided about the magnets ... I like the light touch, but it doesn't feel as positive as the spring, if that makes any sense. I may put the spring back in for a while and see. The magnets have their charm, and it does seem a bit more "tech-y", but I think they don't feel as substantial as the GGTS itself ...
