I'm still a little peeved about our "professional" re-seller community. The day the GGTS's land in people's hands a bunch of them come up on the classifieds. Not really a big surprise.

that freaking sickens me. I cant believe how many people on COV forums wanting tog et there hands on GGTS and the greedy peeps are Reselling it new for double the price. Its a shame for sure. I dont mind if its something that is already old and used and folks just want to get rid of it but to just make money off of the peeps that cant wait for another pre order is to me ethically wrong.

Eh...

Unfortunately there are some people that have been on this board for 3 years and have 30 posts. I think that posting on the classifieds doesn't give you post count. They crawl out of the classifieds once in a while to ask when the next pre-order is so they can buy as many as possible and re-sell them for a profit.

I find that kind of activity disrespectful to both CoV and Imeo. They contribute nothing to the forums or community and are strictly here to make a profit.

If you have something you don't want, by all means sell it at market value. That's only fair. If you're buying up stock strictly to re-sell it for a profit, it's a whole other thing.

With the looming advance order everyone should get what they missed out on anyway. Hopefully.

Ok guys. About these adaptors, cuz I'm in the same boat as everybody here. I use the rethreader, a 901-510 and a shorty 510-510. No matter what I do the air control doesn't work for me. Just a mean heavy pull on it. The only thing that affects the air control is adjusting the top cap to sit flush aginst the Ody base(making the draw tight) or lossening it(making the draw more airy). I know I probably have it set up weird but any ideas? I've also tried it without top cap and with rethreader and just 901-510.

You can get the 901-808D shorty and 901/808 to 510. Not sure if it will fix you draw but worth a try.

Air control doesn't work with some combinations.

That being said it might work with that one, but I'm not sure, I haven't tried it.

It should be pretty easy to determine if it will work. First of all your adapters absolutely have togo through the top cap because that creates a seal. Then your adapters have to have the capability to draw air from inside the collector cap. Essentially the only place air should come in through is the 4 holes or slot under the air control ring.

I can't picture how you're setting it up.

Edit: Here is how you can test it. Put your adapters together like you would if you were installing them in the cap but don't actually install them. Now, suck air through the side were you would connect your 510 device. Do you get air? If yes and the adapter is long enough to go through the top cap of the GGTS it will work. Some adapters however don't have holes in the middle of the tube. You should be able to freely draw air through the adapters.

The adapters come up through the oring on the top cap. I am going to try a different setup of adaptors and give it a shot. Thanks guy

Yes just make sure to put the adapter on the ody first then screw on to ggts to make sure of a good connection .

Does the metal on metal provide a good enough seal? I can't see it working with a V2 ody base at all..it has air channels cut in it. There would be no seal. Maybe with a V1.

I'd try it but I don't have an ego laying around.

I think your right I don't have ody at the moment it does work very well on v1

Ok Guys im going to give you a heads up. some adapters will not work. Im lucky enough that the ones I bought from COV did work BEAUTIFUL. I am able to adjust air flow with no problem. I got the 510 to 901 and 901 to 510. Justin from COV made sure I got the right ones to get my Odysseus and Penelope to work.

I know some don't provide airflow control that's why I linked the ones that work. Personally tested.

Yes Bud I purchased the links you showed me on COV then I had Justin to confirm and he said it will work. I only bought one set to test and it worked beautifully so I bought two more sets to have.

Thanks EZkill for the hand with the adapters also for this juice.

I actually show it in this video folks interested in the adapter can fast forward to 6:30 unless you want to see the whole thing.
