Hi

After reading here in the forum that the ikv 1.5ohm with the ufs was a fantastic combination, I have order two of those attys, they didn’t last more than a few days, don't know why but at some point I felt the button to be very hot and I stop vaping remove the battery (aw imr 16490) and it was hot, replace the battery and the atty was dead...

this happen with the two attys and I presume that it did damage two of my batteries...

Has anyone had the same experience?

Regards

Hello barman_dani i think your problem is the atty !
We have use many of them and they are very good but some had problems like yours.
The 1.5 ohm are not true 1.5 they are 1.8 ohm.
We have use many attys from joye and my opinion is that is the best solution for the UFS.

Using Joye attys isn't a guaranteed fix. Joye atties vary slightly, as do IKV atties. That variance is an unfortunate shortcoming in mass-manufactured atomizers. This is the problem that the HH.357 claims to fix.

From the run of Joyes that I have, I haven't found one that feeds well enough from the bottom to use in my UFS. I have no doubt that most other people who use Joye atties in their UFS are amazed by the performance. Vaporologist stuck one of his Joye atties from a different run into my UFS, and it performs outstandingly. On the other hand, I have one Joye atty that meters at 1.4 ohms. It'll knock your head off with direct drip. But in the UFS, its performance is dismal, producing about half the vapor and flavor of direct drip. It just doesn't feed right.

So it's all luck of the draw, really, unless you're willing to spend over $20 on an HH.357. I'm not -- at least not yet, anyway.

Hi

Thanks to all, I believe after talking with a friend that also has a ufs, that my problem was that by squeezing to much the battery tube it was forcing the positive pin and by doing that it ruin the atty, that or, I was using it to much and get so hot that it pop...

I was able get another ikv 1.5 from my colleague and I trying to avoid the above, let’s see because in the last week 6 attys went to the trash...

Once again tanks...
