Imeo, this is great news. I really want an Ody, and I'll wait (im)patiently and not pay some rip-off price from the classifieds. I hope a bunch of people get stuck with a lot of stuff they bought just to re-sell. By taking pre-orders, you will get your products into the hands of the people who want them to use, not to hoard and make profit from.

sure jager. Order exactly anything you want. But if I see something that is not good for your health, I will not make it. Something like brass CT.

I'm confused with this statement Imeo. I wouldn't want the whole tank brass myself but a brass control ring would be cool.
Is the brass health concern new, because COV shows a brass GGTS connector (the bottom portion of the control tank) which comes in to contact with liquid.
I do however very much appreciate you looking out for our safety.

I would think that would be more of a concern with the UFS over the Ody, seeing how the Ody is not prone to leaking. I have the brass connector that I intend to use with my Ody, and like you said the CoV edition has the brass connector. Myself personally I would not mind a brass CT.

Edit: you do know that he is on vacation and will not be back till the end of the month.

Most brass contains lead, which will contaminate your juice. You do not want to breathe lead vapor! Only non-juice contact parts should be brass. Even so-called "lead free" brass contains some lead.

From Wikipedia:
"To enhance the machinability of brass, lead is often added in concentrations of around 2%. Since lead has a lower melting point than the other constituents of the brass, it tends to migrate towards the grain boundaries in the form of globules as it cools from casting. The pattern the globules form on the surface of the brass increases the available lead surface area which in turn affects the degree of leaching. In addition, cutting operations can smear the lead globules over the surface. These effects can lead to significant lead leaching from brasses of comparatively low lead content."
