GGTS will stay as it is coz, so threads will be shown. But I think that one more extension will solve the issue I think

Now I am designing 2 types of atomizers. The one that will have everything on it (when I say everything, it will include all options people asked from time to time and one for all people. The first one will be the ultimate atomizer and the other one will be a fantastic inexpensive piece.

I can't wait for the new stuff Imeo but at the same time I'm so glad you gave some of us new users the opportunity to buy things like the UFS. It's just more options all around ensuring I only need golden greek stuff to satisfy all my vaping needs.
Love all the options too. Had some extra penelope bases and an ody dripping cone...now I can use it as a dripping ody/penny. Fantastic. Great for sampling juices.

I received my GGTS today.I was going to try the Kick as it is with just some threads showing but the Kick will not fit inside the Extension tube.It will fit in the telescoping tube just fine.The I.D. of the Ext. tube is smaller than the telescoping tube.
I just mic'd it and it is pretty tight but I got it in.
I have an cgr18650 and a kick but not even 1 thread will thread.
The center pin is way to long.It sticks out 3.5mm If I put the battery in first or in if I put the atty on first.Has anyone cut this off to fit.

Here is where the kick comes to with the atty on first.And the battery with only about 1 thread of the tele tube in the base.
It would probably fit if that center post was just the right length.
I don't use those batteries so I can't tell you exactly what's going on with that battery. I only use IMR high drains which the maker of the kick says are a must. It's all over their site, big warnings everywhere. To each their own though. I only mention this because AW IMR high drains are slightly shorter.
The way your kick is sitting right now it certainly won't work. I just looked at the ones in my GGTS's and they are sitting well past the threads in the top section. With both a UFS and an Odysseus with GGTS base the positive battery contact on the bottom of the connector is almost flush with the top portion of the GGTS. So yes, that pin is supposed to be that long because otherwise it wouldn't work with the two native devices I mentioned. If you are screwing an atomizer directly into the 510 connection then it will push the pin down and extend were the battery contact is on the other side and move your kick further out of the tube.
Try this: Don't put an atomizer in at all and see if it all screws together with the kick and battery inside. That's the result you would get with an Odysseus or UFS. An AW IMR 18650 + Odysseus or UFS barely fits with the bottom spring removed. Literally barely. You will see the first thread ridge on each side of the telescope. Not actual threads just the polished SS thread ridge. Thats with the spring removed for extra clearance.
The easiest answer if you want to keep using what you are using is to order an extra 16 dollar top tube. Then you will have no problems with clearance and you don't have to pull the spring. It would look something like this but a little longer since I'm using an Ody and AW IMR:

This is normal.
The center pin is meant to be adjustable so it is long. Because of this using the GGTS with only 1 top tube 18650 and a kick will not work with a 510 atomizer or cartomizer. It does work with an ody with correct setups or a UFS . You can use it with a rethreader and a 901 to 510 converter.
Center pin should be kinda tight as there should be 2 2x1mm o-rings on it. If the pin flops around take the connector apart and see if the o-rings are there.
The easiest solution would be to buy an extra top tube...for your GGTS
or you could get a stealth cap and you wont have to get an extra top tube, if you dont care if the threads of the telescoping tube shows a bit. (this works for the AW red 18650 battery)
This set up is using everything but the collector/connector tank, and swapped it out with a stealth cap without the ring for the stealth cap, using Ody new 510 base for china atty tank, with Kir Fanis 3rd party Ody long mode clear. Here you can see what most folks will say about the threads of the telescope tube showing on both ends.
Though I am using AW red 18650 vs Panasonic Hybrid so can't comment on the height of that particular battery.
The center pin post should have some kind of resistance when you push down on it, as the o-rings supply the resistance. It should not be able to go down by its own, like flipping it.
(not really advisable, but some folks do it, remove the spring on the bottom end cap, to give you more space)

The Panasonic is a high drain battery ,10A.Better and safer than the AW imho.I had read your earlier posts about using the kick and didn't realize that was only with native devices.I don't have either one so I guess it will go back in the bag until I get my ufs.

No you can use the kick with any device, all I'm saying is the positive battery pin sticks out further so there isn't as much tube available.
It's an easy solution though. GGTS Top Tube in stock and available.
Then you'll easily be able to use the kick + 18650 with any device no matter how much the positive pin sticks out. I prefer the look with the extra top tube anyway.

I meant using the kick + GG with GG native add-ons without an extension.I don't have a ufs , ody ,or stealth cap so the GG will go back in the bag.
just wondering if you tried out this simple method?
Remove the battery spring to see if it gives more of what your looking for.... till you can get the parts?
Its better than just putting it back in a bag.
I'm new to the GGTS and confused. Does the Penelope fit directly on the GGTS or will I need a connector of some kind? Wasn't clear on that part. I do know that I was so blown away by how well the Penelope was made and how well it works, that I had to get a GGTS
