When I first started with Ego type batteries back in August, I started out with just plain non VV ego batteries. Then quickly graduated to twists and spinners. Will go more advanced eventually, but I'm good for now.

Anyway, I have given away my first 2 Ego batteries now to let others try them to make the switch! One went to my father in law. But I don't have too much hope for him. I don't think he understands that he doesn't have to give up cigs as soon as you start vaping. He keeps saying "I'll do it when I'm ready", although I don't think I'm pressuring him, just encouraging him to give it a try. I don't think he's touched it since I gave it to him. Oh well, maybe one day he will.

Then today, my secretary asked me about it. She recently quit cigs via Chantix. This is her 2nd or 3rd attempt. She said she still isn't smoking, but her cravings are super intense and she worries about picking up the cigs again. She asked me where to get the e-cigs. It's funny, because people will ask "what kind of e-cig do you have?". And I go on this long explanation about "well, I have X battery and X tank and I use X coils and X juice...". It doesn't all come from one place and each users experience is pretty much customized to their taste. The exception of course being if you are a user of Blu or other similar cig-a-likes. So instead of intimidating with tons of info, I just gave her my 900Mah Ego with a Kanger EVOD. The EVOD was already half way filled with AiV's "Afternoon Tea". Since it was only half full I gave her a small bottle of MBV's "Thug juice" that I always keep with me. I still have a huge bottle at home and could bear to part with the 10ml's I had left in my small travel bottle.

Only bad thing is, I didn't have a spare charger with me to give her. The 900 Mah used to last me a whole day. Maybe this will get her through the weekend. If she comes back Monday and wants to get her own, I'll tell her what to order.

This is my first foray in getting others to really try it out. Hope it works!

These are the stories that make me proud to be a vaper! Cudos to you!
I gave away my entire kit of four 501 manual batteries, a handful of carts and atomizers along with the charging case to a Sheriff Deputy at a local courthouse to try after she asked about it when going thru the metal detector. That was back in April or May? She reports success for her husband.
She isn't getting my Reo though, I'm not that nice of a guy...

Well done :) ..
My g/f and I have given tons of e.cigs to a neighbor and finally found one she likes.. I believe she is now an entire week free from analog smokes, mostly due to our own efforts of finding an e.cig that worked for us then passing on the ones we did not really enjoy. Once we found one my g/f liked we passed on a kit to the neighbor also. The older ones were returned and we've started the process again with others.
Keep passing it forward.
Blessings and Joy,
Bliss

I also gave away one of my plain old ego-t batteries and 2 atomizers to a friend of mine to get him started. He has since upgraded to an evod clearo. It feels good and I now have an MVP2 and itaste vv v3 with a 1000mah ego-c battery for a back up so I don't really NEED the only ego-t setup anymore.

If your wife catches you giving stuff to your secretary you are in a world of pain!

A guy i work with asked about them - so i bought one for him. Saves time with the why's how's and all that.

T

Well, if my wife finds out I will have a whole new set of issues to post about, as I am female and married to a man. :) :)

In my first 2 weeks of vaping I bought 2 starter kits. I had to have back up! Then after buying more things I gave the first starter kit to my sister in law and she gave one of those to her son. They are both still using them. I do still on ocassion use the other Evods but if I see someone with interest I would happily give them one to try out. It is always nice to see people switch!
