I got a prepaid visa 2 months ago, after having regular account stolen. I'm glad I did. I went to make a little purchase and noticed my prepaid had already been stolen. They tried to buy stuff from walmart.com three times. Card replaced. No harm no foul, luckily. FWIW the only things I have used the card for have been ecig purchases.

I've started doing this as well. I never had any of my info stolen, but all the stories going around sufficiently spooked me into some preventative measures.
Yep, my preventative measure is to use "ShopSafe", a virtual CC attached to my regular BoA CC account.
Exactly what I do now. It slows down my buying too! And that is a good thing!

Has anyone gotten hacked after using their card at Ahlusion? I haven't, but I made a teensy mistake of using the wrong card there. My first rookie mistake (ok, not my first, but the first CC mixup at least!)
I have only ever purchased from 3 sites: mtBakerVapor, myVaporStore, and youVape. I have not been hacked...yet.
Apparently Paypal has a policy about not allowing e-cig sales or transactions in the US. If you order from outside the US, paypal is ok. So, if you ever DO find a US vendor who surreptitiously takes paypal, keep it on the down low! 
No, Paypal is NOT e-cigarette friendly. However, Wizard Labs accepts Paypal, somehow.

They need to change that though.. they are now in Central Florida. I'm just glad that they supply the labware and chemicals for my own research and development.

I have also had a prepaid card. The biggest problem I found was they won't support the losses. They can be hacked also. I got better response from my bank putting the money back in my account. The prepaid people didn't seem to care.
I used my card at all sorts of online vape outlets and it was Home freakin despot that got my card hacked. My bank put a stop to it and I got my money back.
I've had problems with a pre-paid card because it does't have a name or billing address. I'm thinking about going to the bank and getting an account that I can keep a zero balance and just transfer money when I make an online purchase. If my bank will do this without chargeing me a monthly fee that is.
