Schnarph--did you find your package? If you're talking about USPS--if it says delivered, but it's not there, there is a problem. They never pre-scan. Generally tracking info appears long after something happens, but never before. I'm almost embarrassed that I've become a bit of an expert on USPS tracking procedures. . . would never have happened if they didn't constantly screw with my mail!

Speaking of which, another Express package due for delivery today didn't get delivered. . . fortunately, this isn't literally an emergency. But it does piss me off!

Hope everyone's having a good day.

thank you for the links. Ima watch em when i get home. I did a search on YT while on my break for kraken cotton build and saw a video of a single coil horizontal MC that used a tiny pinch of cotton to plug the hole, with the coil pressed down against it.
was this the video you linked to? (i cant watch em on this cpu)
i picked it up on my break, about to take it apart.
it came with a small piece of mesh..

the other video i saw was 2 vert MCs with a big rolled cotton wick that went into the tank and thru both holes/coils.

what would your recommend for my first try?

A) You do not need SS rope. Folks have been using mesh alone for much longer, although even that isn't necessary. If you have some cotton ball, I suggest you give this a try : Genesis Atomizer Auto Dripping Mode Using A Micro Coil - YouTube (note: I don't care for that guy much but some of his tutorials are decent) You'll have to tilt every couple of drags, but chances are you'll like the flavor better and it's much easier to do than rolling and oxidizing mesh.

B) RBA, RTA, RDA: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/new-members-forum/466428-what-difference-between-rda-rba.html and http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/rebuildable-atomizer-systems/487409-difference-between-rba-rda.html Basically, all rebuildables are RBA's, RBA means rebuildable atomizer. At some point (probably marketing reasons), tankless dripping atomizers became known as RDA's and genesis/tank atomizers kept the term RBA. It took a little while before the term RTA (Rebuildable Tank Atomizer) caught on, the Ithaka had been around but with all the others somebody coined the term and it stuck. You can rebuild a Protank/Evod head but I still think they are clearomizers. JMO, I could be wrong. :2c:

and thanks for the explanation. i thought that is what it was. I like the term RTA, first time ive seen it used :)

#3 Alrighty so I know we do not talk about certain things here as this is GMO's place. But can I ask a question or maybe some opinions on what is a decent RDA that is a little better than the igo-l? I really would like something that the bottom screws onto the dripping part if that makes sense. The igo-l just sort of pushes together. It comes apart too easy for me. If this question is innopropiate a mod can delete it or maybe you can pm me. I only ask cuz I trust the opinions of everyone here. TIA TIA Mwah...............

Nope. It's not there, I just checked again in case it was a late delivery, it happens sometimes. I knew something was off when it said "delivered" at 7:45am, I didn't get any mail until noon. If it's not here tomorrow, I'll go to the post office with the tracking number and see if they can help. I'll keep my hopes up until then.

The video I linked to is pretty simple. It's just a single, vertical, micro-ish coil with some cotton through it down into the tank a little. Like any coil building, I would suggest you go with the easiest method possible first and work your way up. Cotton would be best, a single silica wick goes really slow when going straight up in an RBA. If you want to try SS mesh later on, you'll need to watch/re-watch some videos. You'll also need more mesh in case the first one doesn't work out, a butane torch, and around 15-30 minutes to roll the right size piece, fiddle with the coil, hotspots, etc. It gets easier after a few, but it's hard at first and some folks never make one they like... which is why I suggest a cotton ball wick "auto dripper". I can make a SS mesh wick pretty fast, but I don't like the flavor as much as cotton, hemp, or even silica. To each their own, YMMV, blah blah blah.:)

hmm, i wish i had an answer.
I have 3 Igo style drippers, and the RTAs.
The drippers i have are all pressure fit.

I am kinda perplexed. there are two wick holes. if i build a single vert coil, should be right over the hole? how do i cover the 2nd hole?
i feel dumb, i watched the vid, but dont remember anything about plugging the 2nd hole.
if i make the coil horizontal, i could roll cotton to run from near the bottom of the tank, up thru the hole, thru the coil and back thru the other hole, although this side could be cut right below the deck.
is this a good plan of action?

That really sucks. I get really annoyed with the fact that my packages don't seem to be scanned often--sometimes they go 2-3 days without any scans, and I can't believe that they think anyone finds their information even slightly useful. For example, I had vapemail come today, and the tracking info said "Departed Cataño sorting facility" on January 11. It didn't arrive at my local post office until today. The kicker is that the Cataño facility is less than five miles from my local PO--maybe they strapped it to the back of turtle who took two days to walk across town? What concerns me about a scan that says "delivered" is that there's a chance it was delivered to the wrong place. I hope it turns up tomorrow!
