Okay so I read through the thread and want to pull the trigger on a Gogo. So Nhaler has the kits but it out of stock on the LR cartos. And Cigeasy is out of stock on the kits and doesn't even offer LR cartos. Fail

Are these the only 2 suppliers for this product??

Yes, they are the only two in the States selling the Go-Go.

Still love this thing.. Quick question, how many refills are you guys getting out of a cart before cleaning or tossing?

Go carts are like twinkies. They have an eternal shelf life. Many use them daily for 1 month to 6 weeks and more. There are some who started using one in Feburary and are still using it today. After that the entire gocart can be completely dis-assembled and cleaned/rebuilt and used over again. When the world is enveloped in nuclear holocaust, the only thing left will be cockroaches, raccoons, coyotes and gocarts. There is a dedicated thread on it. "How to clean and rebuild a gogo cartomizer" by your's truly. :)

I think a lot depends on the juice you use and how sensitive your taster is. lol I have only set two aside to clean someday, in 2 1/2 months, others clean them quite often especially if they are using dark heavy juices. They are having great luck cleaning them though and they perform like new after a Mohawkz Go-Go cleaning job.

I am having a problem with burning the filler of the go-carts. My pattern is this: I fill the new cart exactly as described in the "guide" that is linked in the first post of this thread. I vape it for about 2 days, occasionally adding juice whenever I feel it is going dry. When I'm about 2 days in, it starts getting a bad or burnt taste. I tried removing the filler from all 3 carts I have stopped vaping, and all 3 had burn marks at the lower end (where the filler meets the coil at the bottom). I know you have to keep carto filler wet and I think I am doing this by adding juice quite frequently. What am I doing wrong?

Also, is there a good way to get the filler back into the tube, like a tool to use? I tried snipping off the tiny piece of burnt filler and was hoping to just reinsert it and see if it vapes well.

One thing I have found useful on a GO-GO refill: I forget who suggested it but if you recall the pre-digital oral thermometers, you had to give them a hard shake to get the mercury down before using. If I am adding 30 or more drops, I always use the thermometer shake 6-8 times.

Yes I always get a drop or two lost juice out the end (I hold a paper towel over the battery end to catch the flung juice) but I have yet to have a dry hit. Centrifigal force forces the juice to the bottom and seems to help keep the filler in the bottom since it is wet.

You mileage may vary but hope it helps. Mohawkz cleaning guide is THE source for rebuilding the GO-carts. Makes it almost painless. :)

Perhaps I'm getting atypical results from my go-carts since I have burnt the filler in every one of them so far. I tried an experiment with the last one, filled it up slowly just like the guide said until it leaked and wouldn't take another drop. Then I pulled the filler right out. The filler was wet around the bottom and top, but the middile portion was bone dry for reasons totally beyond me. It occurs to me that once the liquid at the bottom (near the coil) goes dry, the liquid from the top may not be working its way down and so the dry filler burns even though there is still plenty of liquid in there.

Very interesting - what percentage of pg/vg are you using? Wonder if this is related to the recent batch of cartos that the vendors had as this has not been reported much on the initial groups. Do you have a syringe you can use - wondering if that might be helpful in ensuring better wetting.

I'm using 80/20 pg/vg. I really do hope this is an issue with a particular batch. I just ordered another box of 5 so we'll see how that works out. Four cartos - all four had burnt filler within 24 hours of the initial fill, in spite of frequently filling until it dripped out of the bottom. Don't have a syringe. Where can I buy one?

I hope this helps you some. I always fill or top off my cartos from the bottom up, first making sure that the filler is wet near the coil. I do this with a syringe and stick it through to the bottom first in several locations before I move up and finish filling the carto from the top. Otherwise, it might take some time for juice at the top to migrate to the bottom near the coils, so about 2/3 of my filling is from the bottom first.

Your right. The filler will stay dry in the center on a fresh carto and the rebuild ones, too. It has to do with how the filler is packed at manufacture and how it is installed during rebuild. There was just a thread in the e-cig general session where a poster named Niclic took a picture of a dual coil clear cartomizer probably on page 2or 3 by now). It took the recommended mls (3 I think) and then started to drip out the bottom but he could see that the middle was still dry(there is a picture he took showing this). 1 hr later, still dry. 3 hrs later, still dry, 5 hrs later, still dry but just barely. So it takes time for the carto filler to absorb the juice evenly throughout the carto and for some reason it's always the middle that ends up dry. When I use one of my rebuilds or a brand new one, I always fill it last thing at night and let it sit on end overnight now. I was filling the carto up and not getting a good hit out of it. I left it and went to bed and the next morning tried it again and it hit perfect. I have a theory that the filler is compressed when dry and when filled with juice it expands and returns to it's natural density and wicks properly over time. Once it's thouroughly wet it's a snap to top off and keep it wicked but the initial fill takes a whole lot longer to wick than thought. I've been doing some experiments of filling the cartos with 3 ml and then pulling the filler immediately to see whats going on in there. I want to get some clear stiff plastic and pull a gocart filler and insert it in the clear plastic or glass of the same size and fill it with juice and see what it does. As soon as I have some difinitive conclusions, I'll post them here.
