Hi Exil3! In another thread, the Ocelot (Provarianti Princess) linked me her method of priming cartos. You may want to give this a try....http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...-method-carto-filling-k-backwards-condom.html

Oh...and the guys tell me that pre-punched is much easier on your O-Rings since the punch holes are smooth and not potentially jagged from punching...

Oh....and that a Slap Yo Mama tool is a must have gadget.....A PBusardo Review - Slap Yo Mama Multi-Purpose Adapter - Big Daddy Vapor - YouTube

Ok so I'm gonna give the Ocelot a try here in a min. Not to be annoying but when I'm all ready to finally fire do I first check ohms on the provari or fire a few times (2 above) then check ohms? Hope that makes sense

I am new Provari owner so I can't say what is best but I can tell you that every time I attach a tank, I check ohms to make sure that the coil is reading.

BTW, let us know how the Ocelot method worked out for you. :D

Also, there is this "everything you always wanted to know about cartos but were afraid to ask" post from Bad...this is amazingly good info!

I would say yes, always check the carto resistance before first use. I've had an entire order of cartos (not from my current vendor) come in at the wrong resistance, and they were 1.8ohm when I ordered 3.0ohm. Even with a good batch of cartos (my current vendor), there is an occasional problem where the resistance is either wrong, or it fluctuates quite a bit. For these defective cartos (about 1 in 30 or so), there's usually no saving it.

But I guess I AM chopped liver.

Sigh. (post #9)

Oh well.

That is impossible, I hate liver but I don't hate you! ;)

BTW FourthRok, not to go all Off topic here but I looked up some of your posts and you answered something I needed to know....My Ex-hubby (and good friend) is looking into vaping....LOL gave him a full tutorial on the subject. But he is a long time menthol smoker. I was looking for juices that would satisfy his menthol needs. I am DEFINATELY going to look into your recommendations and buy some for him.

Oh good point!

I just keep sucking until no bubbles come out of the whole. I do this while it is screwed on to the battery.
If you keep having issues I would just go to a wick system. I used to use a Vivi Nova, and a Kanger T2 and really liked them.

I know it can get frustrating and make you want to give up. Are there any local stores in your area that only sell vaping supplies? I would bring everything in and ask them if they can help you out.

I shouldn't have to drip throughtout the day right? That would kinda defeat the purpose of a tank. It's been dry no flavor for bout 5 hours, tank still has plenty of juice. The top of the carto is dry. Any thoughts?

I find that with the Boges, it is normal if they look dry on top in a tank. I don't get any burned tasting hits. If you are using a juice that is heavy VG, you might want to take a few 'toots' without firing your battery between regular ones. Good luck and have fun!
