Kudos on supporting your local B&M. BUT... you can do much better, vaping and dollar wise, by ordering a RIVA set up, juices and some spare cartomizers for a superior vaping experience. Also get a 306 atty and drip tip for sampling flavors. Be sure to use the 20% discount code, october20!

So, with the RIVA 510 - CARTO DELUXE setup, how much are a pack of blank cartos? How long of a life should I expect out of them?

"Cartomizers generally last about a week, sometimes longer depending on the juice- darker, sediment laden juices clog quicker and they're about $2.00 each. You can also buy mega or XL cartos that take much more juice thus you're re filling them less."

I'd buy the cheapest eGo kit or equivalent 510 thread kit with 650mah batteries or higher and some Boge 2.0 cartos. The tanks are nice in that you can fill about 3ml of juice, but the leaking issues are a hassle. The silicone caps seem to fix the issue, but still, cartos are much better and they don't leak in your pocket. IMO, Boge 2.0 cartos produce better taste and vapor.

You can buy 15 here for $19 $1.27each

Crystal Clear Vaping $19 inc shipping with code ecf5off
Plus, they throw in a syringe for filling and a drip tip.

How long they last depends on how much you vape, the juice you use, and personal taste.

My daughter uses one for almost 2 weeks. I use one every three days or so. My wife screws a new one on every morning.

yes.

Plus a fluxomizer, clearomizer, drip tip, etc.

;)

Well that's pretty cool. I have my Blu here that I can take w/ me when I'm out and about, and I won't care if I damage it, lose it, etc. And it's not a horrible device. Good when I can only grab a few puffs.

So I'm thinking of going with a cart + atomizer setup with the ego, to begin. Sounds simple enough. Do carts and attys have a decent life? Not sure what to expect and how much to order at the start.

Looks like a great buy. And how much are new atomizers / t-carts, usually? Have a link to a good supplier?

I finally got to try the ego tank a few days ago and it was meh...really meh. Flavor was light, draw sucked, and it produced almost no vapor. Get a regular ego or a k go or e power. They can be found Mich cheaper online as well.

I keep reading things like this and have concluded...

You're doing it wrong.... Or are comparing it to some High Volt mod using LR dual coil Cartos with pure VG.

LOL

The flavor IS light...

but it produces a TON of vapor... enough that when sitting and reading an ebook on my phone... if i don't exhale to the side or up, i have to wave my hands to clear the cloud so i can even see my phone... let alone read it!

there are definitely some quirks and tricks to it...

for instance... when you insert the tank.. (if you have not pre-punched the hole)... after you click it in place, grab the tank and spin it 180 degrees... otherwise the hanging chad can black the wick tube.

The one I used had 100% pg menthol juice in it and I have owned an ego for well over a year now. I know what the draw and hit and on ego is supposed to be and the t does not provide it.

I use all vg as well so I am sure it would work a lot less for me.

is completely different than

"almost no vapor"

remember you're directing your comments to the OP... someone who is considering buying a T.... has never owned either a T or original eGo... and currently has BLU....

you are basically telling him the T, produces less vapor than the Blu...

When in reality the eGo T vapor production is staggeringly high compared to the Blu... it will blow his mind.

I see a lot of that here... people forgetting what it was like when they were new... when they though Blu was the greatest thing ever! LOL

And please show me where I said that in my post. Just said the regular ego produces better vapor.

Actually... you never said that...

I know it's what you meant(well now I do...) but it's not what was said...

Here's your post:

you never qualified what you were saying... you said the eGo T sucked... and told someone who's experience is limited to Blu that it produced almost no vapor
