Had an XL battery with a hard failure near the end of warranty. V4L honored the warranty, but due to their expansion the replacement fell through the cracks, didn't ship promptly.
I got back to them, and V4L not only replaced the failed unit but comp'd me very nicely, something I hadn't asked for.
Moral of the story -- play nice, contact CS, go to PM or call if things slip up, and V4L will go out of their way to make it right. Their goal is to retain and build customer base, like any company. That's all I can ask for from any firm I deal with.
Nice work!
