WOW!!!
I followed all your advices....got two brand new coils (1.5)....much better quality juice (Decadent ChocoPeanutButter 6mg 50/50)....primed the coil....
and.....WOW.....i wasnt vaping at all before!!
I see a bright and smokefree future ahead of me.....

THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR HELP!!! :thumb:

I am very happy to hear that!!! 6 is a lower nic than what I Vape at. If that keeps you off of cigarettes, that is fantastic! If you get strong urges, and you feel like you need a cigarette, do not be afraid to bump your nic up to 9 or 12.

Also, please let us know if this fixes your sore throat and headaches.

Hi guys,
I can now definitely say I solved all the problem i was having....
sore throat was caused 100% by the burned coil....headache maybe by the high nicotine....

Can I ask you another question....is it normal that my Subox Mini with the original tank leaks when I keep it in my bag?? I specified "original tank" because with the subtank nano I just bought it doesn't leak....

Thank you again for the big help!!!

That is great news that you are no longer getting a sore throat!!!

I have only had my Subtank mini leak one time. I am not sure of the exact cause, but after cleaning it thoroughly including the base and allowing it to dry, it has never leaked again. I would say that it is not normal for the tank to leak.

Can you tell where it is leaking from? This is important to know.

This is just a guess as to what could have happened: If you puff on it too hard without firing, it can flood the coil. You can tell when a coil has flooded because it will gurgle when you puff on it. This can fill the base with fluid, and the base holds a ton of juice which will leak out of the air holes.

I would turn the tank upside down for 5min, and then unscrew the base of the tank. Unscrew the coil from the base and make sure that the o-ring is there, and in good condition. Wash out the base and let dry. Reassemble and make sure that the coil is screwed down nice and snug. See if it leaks again.

Glad that it worked for you! Since it did, I think there are 2 possible explanations to the leak. 1 is that you flooded the atomizer. As I mentioned before, this can be from puffing too hard or to much, or possibly from just using too much juice while priming.

The other way that I think it could have leaked was from having the coil not seated well. Maybe the coil's o-ring was wonky, or maybe it just wasn't snug enough into the base.

As i mentioned, the base can hold a bunch of fluid so it can just accumulate there over time until the tank is tipped just right and it comes out of the air holes.

Glad this is resolved! Have a good day!
