1. Calmer, happy, content mood, no irritation and depression, this was immediate, the first full day after I quit analogs. Very odd.
2. better breathing, no cough
3. more energy
4. more motivation to do stuff not lay around the house.
5 less craving even though I think the nicotine content I am taking in is less (2 carts of 16mg in 4 days vs. 1 pack Misty lights daily), do not think about vaping anywhere near as much as I used to think about smoking. Don't chain vape like I used to chain smoke, in the car, at the computer etc. No idea why.
6. So far less GI issues than I had with analogs (gas, cramps etc) though I think it is nicotine that causes GI issues.

Anyone have any thoughts on these or similar reactions? These are good but I would love to know if this is real or if I am seeing coincidence or what. There isn't a lot on what nicotine itself does vs. nicotine in analog cigs.

Bad symptoms

1. dizziness and it lasts for awhile after vaping. never got that with analogs. Though maybe when I had an analog after going all day and half the night without, can't remember.
2. Have been waking up too early all this week (the week I switched) and I never do that and it is not like there is a reason like a loud noise. maybe this isn't related, could be hormonal? Who knows. Usually a bullhorn couldn't wake me up and I sleep through my alarm.
3. Still wishing I could have the analogs though it is not that strong. Does this go away? It is mostly related to the forbidden aspect of analogs that I guess I liked (ie. my roommate goes out and then I am looking forward too "now I can smoke lots of cigs as she isn't around to disapprove") Then I realize I can vape anytime-that is a letdown in a weird way. Also catch myself reaching for an ashtray, tapping the end of the tub etc. Just strange but I guess this goes away.
4. These e cigs taste yucky! I will have to try other types but I was never one who though reg cigs tasted good (but my taste buds basically numbed and I couldn't really taste them anymore) so maybe I am stuck with that. Tastes like plastic and a chemical.,

Hopefully these go away as I use longer or maybe there is some technique I don't know about.

If your PV tastes bad it coud be
1. you didnt blow out the primer it came with so your vaping that (its not great tasting lol)
2. your juice isnt good - try getting better juices
3. you didnt say what unii you're using - maybe you have a less popular one?

Dizziness after vaping usually means your nic strength is the juice/cart is a bit high or youre vaping too much.

The imsomnia/short sleep cycle thing hit me too. I'm almost 7 weeks into being analog free and that part of it seems to be dissipating but it's still not totally gone.

The Internet
The dizziness is the best part... jk. I've noticed I feel strange sometimes after I vape. Keep in mind from what I've been reading vaping delivers nicotine to you much faster than smoking. You most likely can noticeably feel this. The chemical flavors I taste mostly come from carts being too dry, or my atty being too dry. I started dripping on my atty day one and the flavor is much better. Dripping seems to be a controversial matter in that some people say it can ruin atomizers.

As far as sleeping goes well, I don't sleep too much purposefully considering the finite time i have to be alive and the fact that I'd like to spend as much of that time as I can conscious.

Hope you feel 100% soon!

Thanks everyone for replying. The waking up early is really annoying because I sleep as little as I can and if I wake up an hour early I am seriously feeling it as it means I've had only 5 or so hours of sleep. The weirdest thing is the mood change. But someone posted a wikipedia article and I read a link to that and evidently nicotine works on the right half of the brain and damps down negative emotions like anxiety and leaves the left half alone. So it helps with ADD type symptoms which I do have, mild though. They actually are uses nicotine patches on autistic kids because of this which is a bit much I think.

I got hoodwinked int a free trial and it is called smoking stick so I know I need to get a better one. I can't figure out if I need more or less mg of nicotine though. I do get dizzy but I also still get cravings. I read that it is absorbed more slowly in e cigs than cigarettes because it is through the skin in the mouth and throat rather than the lungs so it is steadier state not so much up and down.
