I hate the holier than thou non smokers and even a lot of the ones that quit a long time ago. I don't need them telling me how bad smoking is (as if I don't know) They have already banned me from smoking in bars, that was the last indoor strong hold smokers had here in Nebraska! I am just waiting for the special "smoker only" drinking fountains, Bus seats, and.... I think everyone knows where I am going with that! Think we can get a ban on little old lady cheap perfume in public places? I find that more offensive than smoke smell!
As for me, I will vape and the analogs are on their way out!

i have nothing against her personally, but i just don't get the logic in a post like that. if one feels the need to leave, and say goodbye before doing so, just say goodbye. or even send pm's to those she listed in particular. no need for all the negative BS.

as i said.... i've not come across any ex smokers bagging anyone here. i find those people inspiring.

Most people that badmouth anything are usually borderline whatever it is they're badmouthing and want everyone to know they quit. It's called grandstanding. I wouldn't let it ruin your exterience though. I wouldn't quit ECF if I were you. There are things that bother me to and I just don't go on that thread. Good luck whatever you decide but I hope you change your mind.

Hmm ... well, I was one of the people who posted about lighting up after a few days and finding the analog to be disgusting. It was certainly not meant to make anyone feel bad. Just posting my personal experience which was even quite shocking to me. Even though I've had that experience I've still had an analog here and there. It's a tough habit to break.

Although I don't see why on earth s/he would leave over it, I get where s/he's coming from. My eyes start rolling when I hear ex-smokers talking about how much smokers stink, and how nasty tobacco smoke is, and how awful it would be to date/kiss/whatever a smoker etc., etc. It bothers me. but those people are right.... we DO stink! we just don't smell it ourselves.
we need to remember, they are bagging the act of smoking, NOT us personally. and they have reached those views because they no longer smoke and see things differently. i don't think they feel they are better than us. well i've certainly not come across that mindset on this forum, at least.

I think the reason we are seeing more quiters is because this board is drawing in 1000's of people every month...more people signing up, more people slamming the door as they leave...instead of a 1% fail rate, with 1000's more "online" with us, the "fail" rate will increase....thus you hear about them more often....I learn my lesson on the last one, don't fight it, see ya!
