I don't use cones that much either, I just thought that Buzzkill wanted to get into the Ego type market and generally people expect a cone and 510 fittings and be able to use the next best carto and don't really want adapters I would think.

It is marketplace thing and this could be a big seller generally, rather than another mod.

Personally it doesn't matter to me if it has a cone or whatever.

It's been a long time since I last used an eGo, but I recall seeing the cone as indispensable. I dripped exclusively back then, and spills are almost inevitable. The cone worked nicely as a containment dome, keeping spills off my fingertips until, with tissue in hand, I was prepared to deal with them.

I am getting some quotes on the "EGO" type connection with the CONE , and "eVVo" type connections .

"EvvO" that looks better to me

EvvO

I agree. There is more that you can do with it:

EvvO-Life...
EvvO-Love...
EvvO-Lved!

You can really have some fun with that...

Rats, on my foray into 510 land I developed a real loathing of that connector. They were just too fiddly.
One connector to keep costs down makes sense, but 510, ehh.

Hey I do not like them either , the threads are too small and cross thread , non standard thread size ! and generally a POS IMO . BUT 80 % of what I sell is 510 ! so gotta go with the popular connection , plus all EGO's are 510 so it is a no brainer.

Suggestions on a glue that is safe to use on adapter threads? If I can lock an adaptor on that is fine

The cross and strip is what I didn't like, though the ones I had had the added feature of the center contact you had to keep prying up whenever you switched cartos :)
(this characteristic was on 6 different batteries, they all had crud contacts)

Maybe loktite 2046? Fda approved, stable to 450F. $30 for a 12ml tube... How about offering an option, $5 to have an adapter put on? One tube should be enough to do a lot of adapters

this is a 14500 size one , I have some 900 MAH 14500 in mind ( have to test them again , same batts as the VVProV)
it is 16mm ( .625") in diameter x 3.5" 89mm long with a 510 , I only plan on the 510 for now ( to keep costs under control ) .

It will have a wheel adjust on the side that is vertical ! not horizontal ( like the IPro _ ) and a back-lighted silicon button with a blue led when it is ON , the battery is a regular 14500 type that is removable.

We may do colors but not sure yet .

14500 battery, small, discrete...now I'm interested!! Don't like having to have bunches of different sized batteries around.

I like that idea. Seems like it would be a more intuitive thumb movement to have it vertical when adjusting while actually holding up to your mouth. I'll pause while you practice......

Ok, willing to volunteer sacrifice the well being of my thumb if you decide to beta test the eVVo. It's a tough job, but someone's gotta do it. :)

LOL ! , the wheel will be vertical on this model ( space issues ) we are going for a 2 x 14350 battery design with the same controller as the BP and IP !!!! so same performance just lower battery life.

Well, in that case, you need to name it the eVvVo. Got to add the vertical in there. Maybe, we can add another v for 'very'. The eVvvVo. Then, it will be the first version, so it's the eVvVvVo. Or the EvVvVvO. Wow, it's versatile, so we can add... umm... lets just stick with EvvO!

Don't you mean 2x 14250? And those are tiny. But you say that the design will be the same as the BP and IP, so those utilize a power saving feature. Is that correct? So I wonder what kind of battery life we are talking on it?

(not that it matters to me, I'm still getting it :))
