When does the EvvO beta start?

No idea LOL ! I have to remake the tubes and bottom caps , I am on the hunt for a GOOD BATTERY and that will determine the final design so it may end up 1mm larger in diameter ,

If that happens we are starting from the beginning again ! thats how it goes with new designs ! redesign ,. redesign etc. etc.

My 650 mAh ancient eGo batts, with no 5 click shutoff, are WORLDS better than the "VV" eGo batts. You guys are right, they suck. 2-3 hours of light to moderate vaping and it's down to 2-3 bars with 4.2v (high setting) metering at like 3.2 LOL. The old eGo batts last me all day and into the next, and meter the same through the final hit before charging.

This Evvo thing is the direction they SHOULD have taken, kudos to Mike for going there. If you can nail the batt life at 6+ hours the device will be a huge hit imo. Can't wait - sign me up for pre-order! Oh and beta testing lol

That's why it takes time -- Buzz cares about getting the batteries right, not POS, which means finding and testing them. There can be huge differences between battery claimed mAh vs. reality

I am waiting for my battery supplier to check with their MFG about the batts , In this case they will MAKE them to our specs so we know they will be the best out there.

YES same MFG of the Powerizers and Infinity batts , so we KNOW they will be good , these things out perform the AW BRAND !!!

This company seems to test everything pretty good and the MAH ratings are always very close to the marked ratings .
