YES same MFG of the Powerizers and Infinity batts , so we KNOW they will be good , these things out perform the AW BRAND !!!

been tested and tested and xxxxxx.

Well if the batteries are the same quality of the powerizes it is worth the longer wait! Sounds like it will be a good Valentines day gift, if not I too have a birthday in March (except I'm a Pisces) Hope it doesn't go past March though as after that the only thing I can think of to get a gift (for myself) is Christmas!

How about just because you're worth it ;)

Positive response on batteries for the new mod?

Not yet ! I am still looking , this is a small size and they are not that popular , I have been looking at a boosted design but the efficiency is LOW and that just kills battery life so I want to go with the same controller as the IPro BP and VVPV but with a small batt.

the hunt continues.

I thought you guys were going to use the 16340. What's the issue with that battery? They are 3.7V, 1.2 - 1.4 inches and you can get them at 880 - 1000mah, which is plenty of current. Using two, in a series, should alleviate the need for a step-up resistor.

If you can't use those, just go with the 14650. You can use a step-up resistor between the battery and PCB. The ones I see all over are 1050mah, which is enough current to give them decent life. Sure, they are a little bigger, but should still make for a small unit, if using a single battery.

The ultrafire 15270 3.7v 600 mAh look interesting. If they even tested at 400 mAh a pair would provide reasonable capacity in a small form factor. Having a higher nominal capacity, closer to that of the bp and ip, might be good in terms of amps output.

Uhh resistors do not step up , that requires a boost regulator circuit FYI . '

I wanted to do a boost design and tested several most did not work ( my fault ) and they do not have the best efficiency vs. a Buck regulator like the BP and IP use. If I can find a REAL 300mah battery it will get 1/2 the time of the BP or IP and for the size that is good enough for this design IMO.

I have some the tested under 200Mah ! the best so far is a Ultrafire CR2 3.0 volt batt , this gave me full range 3.3 - 5.5 volts and is testing at 260 mah , I have a set in my BP right now testing the life under normal vaping conditions for me .

I don't know about anybody else, but I'm against compromising the smaller size--even a little. The #1 issue that will make this a killer PV is an eGo-like length that will almost disappear into a shirt pocket, yet vary from 3.3 to 5.5V. There won't be anything else like this.

Size is THE MAJOR factor in this design , vape time is 3rd , reliability is 2nd !
