Honolulu, Hi
Too bad you have to pull your whole mod apart to adjust.. Fail.

Idk who you directed that "...Fail." to, but if you had read my post carefully, i said that they are planning to release their tech but with the soldering holes to put other features. features meaning your own pot, led, etc. not once did i say to use the actual Kick mod. so far, i have not read anything about NOT giving ideas that involve other people's work. I merely suggested it because some people suggested using a booster with a single battery. I really dont care if my suggestions are used or not because at the very least, i suggested something rather than just lurking.

I can understand that there are fans of a certain mod and their tech but to down someone else's work without even thinking of it's purpose is unacceptable. Sure they can have flaws and what not but you should be seeing that there is a reason behind the concept of it. The moment buzz said something negative about my suggestion, i threw out the idea.

not trying to down notcig's tech or promote something, just trying to be open minded about options.

Really you should be discussing this in an OPEN forum and not a VENDOR forum ( common courtesy IMO ) now that we are on the subject lets go over the basics
1. Boost regulators convert CURRENT into VOLTAGE
2. Batteries store current
3. Buck regulators like the BP and IP designs convert VOLTAGE into CURRENT
4. Buck regulators LIKE batteries and use less current
5. the K is going backwards towards an original Buzz ( using a screwdriver adjustment )

Personally I think the makers of the K need sales and the Darwin is not doing it

Also we will have the PUNCH ( Buzz Pro electronics ) for modders next year , just $35

That summarizes the Kick quite well. At best, it might breath VV life into all those unregulated, fixed-voltage mods of a generation ago, if you're Ok with disassembling them any time you want to exploit that ability.

At worst? Well, it's the same, isn't it?

Mike, have you considered a built in custom LiPo pack and integrated charging? You'll be able to get your goal energy density with that.
I could integrate the charging , we could use the same setup as the VVProV , as far as a custom battery ??? I have some 14250's that are SUPPOSED to be 300 Mah If they are that would work.

Well I have been designing today and I have a VERY cool design on the comp. TOTALLY different then anything we have done to date. Super multi-color BLinky light ,
