yea just got mine today, very nice, i like them soo far, got a question, i got some 808 cartos and the first one im using keeps making crack-aling sounds, i put about 30 drops in it and it seems to need some breaking in, i tend to use 6v to break attys in then ill use them on 3.7v when i feel like it, but this one seems to strugle. the 510 carto is working just fine on 6v, but i dont want to risk poping the 808 on 6v if theres still not enough juice or what ever is going on inside.

yup, its working fine now, so far im loving them, the taste, vapor, and hit, the only thing i dont like is feeling like dripping after every few vapes, still getting used to not dripping tho,

im going to try them tomorrow while driving the semi, finaly wont have to wait to drip, or having too wait for enough light too drip at night,:thumb::thumbs::banana::headbang:

The one thing I don't like is that, no matter how wet or dry it is, if you add liquid while a carto is still on your Chuck, it immediately pours out the bottom. You have to put the plug and condom back on the battery end, fill it and leave if for 5 minutes or so.

Paco, if you have a flavor you know you are going to want to vape for most of your drive, you might want to pre-fill more than one carto with it.

Drip along the sides of the open end and let it slowly flow down into the filler. Tends to not go down the center hole and soaks down better. Have to do it in 5-6 drip bursts though.

Done that. Sometimes it works, sometimes I get to mop it off.

I stopped trying to boil the tops off my eastmall carts, so I just tailpipe for now.

I had too much of a problem getting the glue all off and I'd undoubtedly shoot some down into the filler, even just a little shaving threw the flavor off irreparably. I stopped screwing with it.

So now I just fill, spin, and go about my business, though it's slightly odd that I carry an empty ziploc with me at all times. :)

If you take a cart and trim off a bit of the bottom, it can be used. You just have to squeeze it in a tiny bit (but the plastic, unlike the drip tips, gives.) I use the fake carts that come on top of atomizers.

update: im really loving these cartos, i like how on the 510 if i use it normal with the soft rubber tip it gives me a nice not too warm vapor, and if i want cooler vapor i just take that soft tip out and place a drip tip on so the vapor travels a bit more, making it a nice cool vape,

question, on the 808 with the condom fill method should i put the threaded side, or the mouth side into the juice filled condom? or does it not matter?

If been doing the dripping into the connection hole, it works very good as long as you hold the carto up so the mouth hole isnt plugged by finger/table,

also on the 510s i can take the tops off so i can see the filler, so when filling when should i stop adding juice? im guessing once it starts pooling on the filler?

In Leaford's video he says you can do either but he recommends doing it from the mouthpiece.

With my hard tipped 510s I'm doing the condom from the mouthpiece. If a smidge of liquid is left in the condom I wait a moment and drip it into the battery end.

The soft tipped ones aren't friendly to doing it from the mouthpiece (the white thing keeps falling off.) When I first fill it, I do the condom from the battery end. It's a little messy because the 510 connector sticks out instead of in. Then, for refills, I drip from the top.

I think I saw a mega 808 with a soft tip the other day but I don't remember where.

ETA: What I keep reading about the right time to stop filling is when the filler looks like a slushie.

They are the bomb, aren't they?

I still need to play with my eastmall cartos. I don't mind tailpiping, I fill like you do quake, just drip along the edges. Need to master breaking the middle out and just leaving the edges glued on on the hard tops. It can be done cause I did it by accident. I'll probably just leave them sit and use them in dire emergency, gonna watch for a good sale on soft tops next month. Two week and toss has been working pretty good give or take a few days.

Paco, meant to tell ya....the 808's even the hard tops..pop right out with the end of a pointy tweezer (good tool to have) and just fill them like quake said. I do the condom method thing too but if they are hard tops they usually have that dang washer that you pull out too and the condom method allows juice to get caught there and yeck. I usually don't replace the washer. dripping and filling right onto the filler is fastest and easiest for me. Half the time I don't even put the little top back on, leave it open and I can see if it is time to top off. I sometimes use a drip tip or just tailpipe.
