My state started private liquor sales today.
Things that happend at work.
1. about 300 people asked me "Where's the liquor?"
2. A couple $63 dollor bottles got stolen first thing in the morning.
3. had to scare away a bunch of shifty looking teens away from the liquor aisle.
Cant wait till next week!
I swung by Haggen to check out the new liquor isle (and pick up dinner). They stationed an employee there to "answer questions". Mainly, I think he was there to explain to people why they should expect the $15 bottle to actually cost $25 once they get it to the register. Everyone's used to the liquor store price tags including all the taxes and bribes and whatnot.
