Thanks for the heads up! Can't believe this is the first place I heard of it. I've yet to experience a big storm here and kind of dread it.
Probably not on your news yet honey as it will be later in the week for you IF it even turns that way for sure. I saw it here cuz we're getting rains from it now in Florida
Do you have a storm kit? If not, go buy stuff NOW 'Cause it won't be there later. If it turns your way, either leave early or forget the whole idea. Evacuation is a b.tch and a half in the first place, and if you get caught up with other procrastinators, it'll suck even worse.

Good Point Count. Supplies, batteries, water, etc. etc. sell out practically immediately when a storms coming and people are NUTSO in the stores too
Also, fill up your vehicles with gas even if you're not evacuating cuz if you ever loose power in you area for long periods, that means the gas stations around you won't have any either so no gas

Yeah, I have family that's been here since before Katrina and heard the stories. Got more food, water, batteries, meds, gas, etc. than I should need. Even got a generator and plenty of ammo
