Well, Aniter, you farted towards the south and now it's getting all dark and blowing up a nasty wind down here.
The fire danger worries me most...I am one block off a busy highway, with 400 acres of dry cattle land behind me...and yesterday I had to stop and put out a cigarette that someone tossed out their window at the end of my street. I am just glad I saw it and could put it out.

I know, I keep telling it to Go West and it don't be listeningI see articles of the drought and it makes me cry. It's not just the plants, crops, people but those poor animals out there both wild and captive struggling to survive too. And those dam wild fires all ova da place ! I HATE those fires.

OMG !!!!! That's scarey for reals !!! The last tropical storm that hit me FINALLY put out a wildfire that was less then a mile away from me in a swamp. That thing burned for months n months n months !! They couldn't get into it to put it out and it kept going underground then back up. It was HORRIBLE !! It still scares me everyday with these storms cuz it was lightening that started that fire. It could happen again any day

Wow...you wouldn't think a fire could burn in a swamp..being so wet and all. Nature sure is freaky. Glad for you as well that it got put out. It is stressful living with fear like that. At least we do not have to deal with tropical storms here...just drought and snakes...lol.

It wasn't that wet at the time. My area was below rainfall like some 11-15 inches for the year when that started. But the swamp muck was still able to sink the machinery that had to get to the fire. Swamp bogs will burn no matter what and when the fire goes down into the root system it'll burn and trees fall after that cuz theres lack of support for them and it starts the fire on top of the ground again. Just goes and goes and goes

Okay folks...gotta go do sumthing so that when my sweetie gets home it looks like I was productive for the day. Then I can say "Boy am I tired...look at all this I did...can you cook supper?...lol.
