One thing I've noticed in my other forum that's bigger than this and works smoothly all the time is that when you do a search, such as for your replies, it doesn't do a new search every time you do it. If you've checked your replies in the last few minutes, the next time you check it brings up the same results. Cuts down on processor load I guess. Wonder if that would make a difference. I know I spend a lot of time using the links under "what's new" and every time I do, it does a fresh search of the site.

Frankie, I am on ancient wired dialup; belong to the Adobe forums and visit consistantly. These are graphics intense and have many "howto" videos posted. The pages load slowly, yes ... but they DO load. I never get the 5-0 blues or DNS errors. I also go to 2 of the popular "deal" sites everyday. No probs there either.

This leads me to believe, thru deduction, it's the servers and not the content that is the issue. I may be totally off-base... just my personal observation.

CJ, I read that whole thread (the one that got closed) about these issues. I really disliked being told it may be our ISP. If there's something out there faster than comcast xfinity cable, it's sure not available around here!!! I might not have the biggest, fanciest computer out there, but I can stream netflix all night long with no problem. Any problems with any other sites have been so seldom that I can't even remember the last time it happened.
I just wish they would acknowledge there IS a problem and find out how to fix it.

We can watch da trees fall down I say Florida flooding cuz alot of us here are already saturated from the 2 tropical storms we had. Some areas are 13+ inches ABOVE normal now and dats BEFORE Isaac pee's on us ! It's the tornadoes I HATE !!!
