So I spent the afternoon at a dog show. That was fun because they had so many different breeds- all the one's I expected but also Irish Wolfhounds, Bedlington Terriers, ect. and a white fancy cut toy poodle punked out with pink poofs!

I have totally mixed feelings about dog shows. I love seeing all the dogs but it makes me queasy knowing how groups like the AKC promote mutilating dogs for fashion and sustaining traits that are harmful to the dogs. :/

I agree, but this wasn't a big one and the "trainers" were obviously the owners- the dogs weren't like the AKC ones. It was more about obedience and grooming from what I could see. The dogs seem to be having fun. I love the agility trials!
