i just put some new batteries in that scorpion to see if maybe it was the batteries that were bad... it started flashing, i turned to see what my pup was chewing on, a next thing I know I gots probably second degree burn on my fingers.... oh so not happy right now

Thank you. it is a start and I know what things I did wrong so I can do them different next time. With lampwork you have to keep it going because you cant put it down to work on it later or even let it cool by pulling it out of the flame to look at it or it cracks. And when its molten you cant see the colors.

good news is the batteries did no blow up, bad news is the end cap and one battery melted into my carpet....
