My side of the yard is doing good. Bad night for grampa though he took an awful fall. He turned off all his lights and then got up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom and tripped and fell. I ran up there and he asked me when the power was gonna come back on.....ohhh poor thing. So I brought him to the bathroom and made sure he was ok....gave him some chocolate pudding and tucked him in bed. Thank goodness he was fine this morning. SKERRY very SKERRY when he falls. So I am looking into getting some sensors for his light that automatically turnon with movement. That should solve the problem....gonna buy them tomorrow
Hugs for you and Grampa, Yimmie. He's so very lucky to have you there for him, you are an extraordinary woman.

Five Truths in Life

1. You cannot stick your tongue out and look up at the ceiling at the
same time, a physical impossibility.

2. All idiots, after reading #1 will try it.

3. And discover #1 is a lie.

4. You are smiling now because you are an idiot.

5. There is still a stupid smile on your face.

I sincerely apologize about this but I'm an idiot and I needed company.

Sensors might turn on and off all night depending on his sleep pattern. Would something like this work? https://www.asseenontv.com/detail.php?p=305858&SESSID=b4284b4f28e0ee7170c6fd22992ac816

I was looking for the little mats that go by the bed and turn on a light when you stand up on it out of bed.

I am going back and forth refreshing windows so I do not miss out on anything, I am so confused way to much going on slooooooooooooooooooooooow down. Your killing my Brain It can only handle so much before it overheats and then it may just blow , which would mean no prize for me. I think this is some kind of conspiracy, lol Sorry just having some fun :)

Nice product but grampa would not remember to put them on when he got out of bed. He will however still sleep if his light goes on. I was also thinking of the mat but he might trip on it so the sensor I think is the safest way to go for him anyway. thanks for trying to help though......I might get the slippers for me....they rock!

We have motion sensor light switches at work, you can set them for the time you need them to stay on.

Maybe just indoor motion sensor lighting?..or perhaps a motion sensor that plays a recorded message like..."go back to bed now Grandpa"?

Here's one. Not the one I was looking for, but it might work. Night Lights Activated by Bedside Foot Mats « Luxury Housing Trends

Here's the same one, but MUCH cheaper. Light N Shine Night Light Rug on eBay!

|I don't know if this will help you but what I had been doing was hanging a lil led flashlight over the doorjams and turning them on at night before he went to bed. I got rechargable batteries for them as well....but then grampa started taking them down and taking them apart and turning them off so it does not work anymore...BUMMER
