Don't worry to much. Just make sure he wears ATGATT (All The Gear All The Time) no matter how hot it is. Full face helmet, Sturdy Pants, Motorcycle Specific Jacket, Motorcycle Specific Gloves and Over The Ankle Boots. I went down well into triple digits (115 last time I looked down) 7 years ago and I was able to walk away from it with minor injuries (2 broken ribs, sprained wrist and 2nd deg burn on my bottom) granted I had on full race leathers but had I not had on my gear because it was 100+ deg that day it would have been much worse if not fatal.

So make him buy it if he don't have it and make him wear it if he does.

Great advice KNV. Many people believe that bikers wear the clothes and hardware they do to look coooool but It all serves a good purpose. I see people riding in shorts, no shirt and flipflops all the time......

Samsun to answer your question, the lava tubes aren't at all hard to get ahold of. As a matter of fact, there's a new version that looks just like the old ones, but have upgraded internals. So there's now a 3.2amp restriction, instead of the old 2.5, as well as an ohm meter built in. This makes em amazing for people who like dual coils and low ohm vaping gear. I finally just got my new one... I waited 2 mos because I ordered one of the ones made of solid stainless steel, and the manufacturing took forever. That wait was not at all indicative. I'm SOOO happy with my stainless LT which showed up just a few hours ago. It has the old fashioned internals, which is not great, but still an awesome vv device. If you're interested in the stainless with the old internals, there's only one vendor they're at, and unfortunately price has almost doubled since I got mine on preorder. BUT the new versions with the ohm meter and the 3.2 amp restriction are available another place. If you're looking for a low cost vv, they're really rather nice. Anyway, feel free to PM me if you have any questions. But no, normally you don't have to wait 2 mos for a lava tube. That would really stink. lol

Yea, I think the only reason I did not think of the Lava Tube was because someone here said it they had been waiting to months to get it. I do not own one, I did not think it took that long to get your hands on one. But then again I have not looked either. Does it take about that long or mybee it was being fix? See told ya I am nosey:p

I just answered your question in at the end of the forum. lol I knew I saw this question, but couldn't find it to reply earlier. ;) Also, if you wait about a week, chris will have a BUNCH of new VV options at GV. Personally, if I was shopping for a vv unit right now, I'd wait to check out those options. Plus he's getting in the upgraded VV TOX units, which I love myself, even though I'm using the old style one till the new ones come in. Anyway, as always, feel free to pm me if you have any questions. As for the game, i know it can be a tiny bit confusing when you're first getting started, just cause it moves SO fast. lol But you can pm me those questions as well and I'd be happy to talk you thru it. When I first started playing, I definitely needed some help and they were nice enough to educate me, so now I can help you. rofl
