um just feel need to post a little update about that ego adapter mod.
when i put the thread cover on it does actually restrict the airflow back to almost the same as before. little bit more air flow but not a whole lot. take the thread cover back off and its nice wide open airflow. with the stardust there is minor restriction from the skirt bit not much and it eliminated all the weird whistling and noise it made when in use. the c8 is slightly freer but its design is the factor here as its air holes are drilled above the skirt threads so only the groove through the threads or modding the c8 itself would change the draw here.
so far i have found i am liking the freer draw and will prolly add the groove through the threads so that i get the same effect with the thread cover on.
