Me too. My kids haven't mastered the concept yet. Well... the 12 y/o is slowly getting it. The 10 y/o complains about doing anything other than emptying the dishwasher... or pushing the Swiffer (which she still does half-assed).

At least she doesn't complain about the dishwasher....mine complains about EVERYTHING.....including having to come backand throw his trash away

Lol..... My 7 year old wanted to surprise me the other day while I was sleeping. She decided to dust, feed the animals and clean the litter boxes . Then while I was in the bathroom getting ready, she thought it would be helpful to let the dogs out but didn't know the alarm was set. At least I got them to stop the police before they got here. Don't need a false alarm bill . I couldn't even get upset with her because she thought she was being helpful and doing a nice thing for me
