Yeah, same here. Love veggies and such.. but I'm a 6'6'' big hairy masculine mans man ya know? lol.. I think I need that protein lol. My sister is a vegetarian, but eats fish so growing up we always had options and lots of veggies. I actually tried it once, I went full vegetarian for about 3 weeks but couldn't do it any longer lol.

I also use things that look like meat at work because alot of the older people treat me like crap when I'm just eating a plate of veggies.
Or i get the "Oh your on a diet?" comments

I had one woman start cussing me out because I was eating a fake soy rib sandwich, she said I was "An idiot for not eating like a real man" and I will die if i don't eat meat.

(This was while I smoked) I told her
"Well being a 41 year old smoker and I have had 8 physicals in the past 3 years and am in perfect health and take no pills and have low Cholesterol and low blood pressure, So I think what I eat is good for me"

She spouted something about the wonders of steak or something and then left.

I wanted to ask her if that's why her husband (who also worked there) would breath heavy and looked like a 80 year old man and he was only 54.

Love it! I hate when people try to force their way of life on you, and get all snarky because you don't concur. Way to stand your ground!

Yeah when i first started i got kinda discouraged cuz i lost alot of muscle, so I stopped... then i was reading it was due to the change in diet...so i tried again and after awhile i noticed it they started coming back and that i lost about 40 pounds without even trying.
After around 4 or so years of doing it now i have it down pat now..in fact sometimes when i go to donate plasma each week they tell me my protein level is almost to high to donate, and tell me to cut down on my meat.

Yeah i love my gas range.. i think thats why I dont wanna move.. All the other apartments i have seen have electric..I like gas because i can still cook when the power goes out! Gotta use the last of my old lighters for something.

On the same note...while looking for a big spoon, my wife found a pack of smokes and all my tabbaco bags and tube from when i smoked..she asked me if i knew it was in there.. I told her yeah and she asked how can i not smoke them knowing they are there.

I said "cuz they don't taste like cola or gummy bears!"

LOL I still have a half a pack of smokes in my garage, right next to the woodworking tools I use on a daily basis. It doesn't even tempt me in the slightest.

My husband asked, "When are you going to throw those things away?" I just tell him that I kept them around as a reminder of how far I've come on this vaping journey.
