& Yay we have power !!! I was readin' & chatin' w/you guys last nite & the damn power went out ...it's been off & on & off & on & mostly OFF ever since then ...but hey we are ON at the moment & hoping it stay on this time ....It is so surreal w/out electricity....and OMG dead silent @ night ,well cept for the kids .....in' & hubby insisting on having the crackle-e little radio on & we never did get a storm last night, luckily . What a mess ! Did I miss.... anything besides just missing you all

Yay for the power! Hope it stays on for you Kelly! You don't realize how much you miss it till it is gone. Sounds like things are starting to look up a little. Glad you and the family are ok! Miss you too hun

yup it was weird , we are all so attached to our 'puters & games forums etc ...really kinda sad . DS was so glad he had a charge on his handheld ps/whatever & DD had her phone & baby ...but DH & I were at a loss oh cept the little radio & then when he fell asleep I realized that I had my nook ,which I had to read by candlelight

But yeah everything is okeydokey here just a mess ...trees parts everywhere etc.
Most of the damage is stuff I personally can't fix sooooo those are hubbys woes ...
I should not laugh & make lite (which lite goes here turt?) of it all ...
cuz dealing w/the re-roofing is gonna be a way bigger louder mess

oh well ....life will go on .... & you guys are always here ...so YAY !!
