Aaargh, on the ongoing saga of getting new
insurance, this is the response I got. After I TOLD THEM ALREADY THAT THE RENOVATIONS ARE NOT COMPLETED.
"Thank you for the pictures of your home. After careful review, USAA will need to decline this risk. The reason for the decline is simply because the renovations are not finished and this can make the home more susceptible to a loss. Now, once the renovations are completed, by all means check back with USAA and we will definitely reconsider. As always, thank you for trusting USAA with your business needs."
Never mind that we can keep neither the mortgage nor the home if we can not keep
insurance.
I could pull my hair out. I wouldn't have wasted my time with that company if I'd known. And I was VERY clear on the state of the house.
