Awwwwwwwwww I loved gizmo. Used to have a stuffed gizmo that made the noise he made (sort of) when ya shook him by holding the string on the top of his head. Wow, sounds awful lol

Yeah on second thought, Gizmo would never do that to us, it had to be:

It was the sockpuppets that let the gremlins in, no doubt!

What part of LA are you from? Hubby has family in La Place and Donaldsonville. Our last name is Hebert, not many people here in Texas know how to pronounce it :glare:

I can pronounce it!........Hebert!........Did I get it right???

Not in so many words...lol. Tried blaming everything else though....our connection, our computers...etc. That was a spell ago though...and since then, I think they started looking at the CDN servers. But the 504's have begun increasing once again the past week *sigh*

I actually got 502 one night.......

WOOHOO!!! I'll be right there, gotta pack up the 150 snakes first!

Do NOT come then and leave those dang BIG rats at home!

It's pronounced "Ay bear" and I'm in Assumption parish, south of Donaldsonville.

Forgot to quote you Hib, but wow cartilage piercing infection........that don't sound good. 108 don't sound good either. lol I really do wonder if my internet thingies that say the temp are totally wrong. They said 100 for us today. It's totally possible but would be very surprising if we were that far apart on temp considering how close we are.

Ehh, it was my fault, left the piercing stud in too long. I'm allergic to anything that isn't surgical steel or pure gold. It's much better now, but 5 days ago you would have thought I was a fighter with cauliflower ear  Wunderground showed us at 102 when I left to go get the kids. The thermometer at the zoo said 108. I don't trust computers, lol. Friday computer said 104 and on my back porch in the shade I was reading 109. What ever you read, it's hawt, LOL. Supposed to be cooling down this week though, I think high of 97 on Friday?? Wonder if that weather to your north will cool things off for ya.

Max, just bring the babies, they are cute when they are babies, hehe.

I grew up here, lived all over SE Louisiana. Back home now.

I really love Louisiana, if hubby didn't have such a good job we would likely move. Not that I don't like Texas, but I've been here 40 yrs, I could use a change!!

And everything else has been hinky. I either heard them post (that's a neat trick huh), or dreamed they posted, that they were gonna be doing some updating, like putting the vendor forums in alphabetical order (and I really wish they would) and some other stuff. So I hoped it was true and that's what was causing all the goofiness. But glad they're at least looking at it.

omgggggggggggg that's crazy!!!!! whassa matter wiff you????? oh and sweet dreams darlin!!!

Sweet dreams lauralie

Grrrrr this time I did quote hibiscuits and it still aint here. Ennywayyysss yeah I don't believe the puters either, even the weather sites. Cuz they've also been saying most of the time that there is a 20+ degree diff in temp and heat index. I can see 8-12 but 20+ is a bit much. I don't have TV so didn't even know there was a system to the north of me. lol I think you said you had a thermometer in the shade, that's the most trustworthy one. But yeah, we're now into our 3rd season.
Tx really does have 4 seasons.......
hot
not so hot
dayummmm hot

I didn't want to leave the Westbank of New Orleans where the wife and I were living, but oddly enough the job she got was back in my home parish making more money than I was, so we moved. I like it that I went to school with half of law enforcement officers here and ALL of city government officials, LOL. Nice knowing my neighbors, nearly all of them really:toast:
