Thank you guys ! It does look bootiful with the silver shining thru the black in real life. I will definately do some more of these. But I goofed up with his eye, ear and mouth didn't come out the way I wanted it to. My camera wouldn't do the close up focus right so maybe you can't see what I'm talking about. (little things like detail bother the heck out of me in case ya couldn't tell  I'm too picky when I know it's wrong I guess)

That is what makes you good at it...;)

wow, it's gorgeous!! I can just imagine how bootiful it is in real life. Jup, all artists/crafty folks are way too fussy about our own work. There's something that probably no one else will ever notice, but we know it's there. I'm sure you've heard, that it's those imperfections that are precious, because it let's you know it's hand made!!

When I used to do beadwork, I was doing a an arm band by single bead. This thing ended up with over 4,000 beads I think it was, and the way it was made was to put each one on one at a time. It was black with a red repeating design. I was so upset when I realized that way back, I'd accidentally put a blue bead where a black one should have been. Then I was told that sometimes artists/crafts people will do something like that on purpose as their trademark so to speak, so I began doing that. Now my mistake wasn't a mistake anymore! lol

Just a little side note here..................The Amish purposely put in one wrong patch in their quilts (referred to as a God patch) because only God can be perfect :)
