Hate it when that happens! It blinked off then back on here yesterday.......I was very glad the puter was off when it happened. Made me wonder if it was a reminder that I should probably pay the bill! lol

Yeah, I never turn my computer off so when we get a power glitch I loose everything.

I turn the laptop off when I'm using it which I am now. But the tower, I don't....waiting for that to return home.
It's on battery back up so if someone is using it we got a few minutes to save things and to shut it down.

Wow, I shut mine down every night or else it won't work good. Also if it's just been sittin in sleep mode too long........it's like me and don't wanna wake up. Move sooooooo much slower than normal and normal is slow enough. So it gets shut down anytime I'm not gonna be on it for awhile......every night.......and anytime during a thunderstorm.

Well for one thing me and DH goes through spells where we don't sleep...seems like one of us is going through it all the time.
We both head for the computer. We'd be shutting and starting it constantly.

JJ, when I was house sitting for a friend years ago.........one of her cats did exactly that with my fruit punch! Eeeewwwwwww one reason I am soooooo not a cat person. I got the cat's heart right about it.....didnt hurt it or nuttin, but it was lookin at me like danggggggg she's crazy....I'm stayin away from her!! lol Cat didn't come near me for 2 days! lol

We do keep an eye on the weather and if there is a threat, we turn it off.

Oh I love cats and learned a long time ago not to leave things out to tempt them!!

I lived with four other girls in a house years back and we had a cat. We, of course, had a lot of parties (not the birthday kind) and the cat drank someone's mixed drink. We stayed up all that night keeping an eye on it. It was okay but it was a little bit wobbly!
