Glad it wasn't my beer!

I'll offer things to my cat and she'll sniff at them and dismiss them as things she doesn't want. But when I do that with beer, she takes one sniff and recoils back with a "You drink that? On PURPOSE?!?!?" look of horror on her face. Works well enough that I'll set me plate down and then put my beer on the side nearest her. She never tries to steal from my plate when I do that.

I lived with four other girls in a house years back and we had a cat. We, of course, had a lot of parties (not the birthday kind) and the cat drank someone's mixed drink. We stayed up all that night keeping an eye on it. It was okay but it was a little bit wobbly!

..................I mean poor kitty!

LOL... My dogs do the same thing! Except for the food part, could put beers all the way around the plate and turn your back and the food will be gone in a flash.
